No, at the present time you can't keep wagons that you steal. Only those you purchase, etc.

There has also been 2-3 updates to the launcher R* has announced. ....I've been updating the sticky I created with Twitter announcements from R* Support.
-
Thanks @Volt for your contributions these past couple days since the PC launch to try and help people with their various issues as R* works through these teething problems. I'm certain those in the community it helps sure appreciate it as do I.

I posted this the other day in another thread but... RDR2 stands as one of the best single player games in ages that took ~3,000 people over 7 years to create with a main story script of about 2,000 pages long, about 500,000 lines of dialogue, over 2,000 days of motion capture work, etc. The level of detail in RDR2 sets a benchmark in the gaming industry IMO. It was also a resounding success in sales and with the critics. That doesn't sound like a company to me who has given up on creating single player experiences or has sacrificed SP for MP. In fact, R* still stands as one of the few out there that do it right IMO and they tell us time and time again in interviews how committed they are to SP campaigns. .....while other companies trim theirs down or chose to remove them (often backfiring I might add). RDR2 is a huge, complete and robust campaign that tells a complete story as a prequel to RDR1. RDO is a continuation of the game as you become the main character and choose your path in the RDR2 world. A lot of the missions that are made available still tie into the main game. R* has done a lot to create an environment for all types of players including those preferring to play solo. It really has little in common with GTAO in that regard and is still evolving.

I was going to say Eagle.... I play with someone your age. lol I'm not too far behind though. btw, we got to get back into it Rage. -
A hotfix is essentially just a quick and targeted fix for a bug, etc. vs. a larger update that may contain several changes addressing multiple issues, adding content, etc. .....like a title update.
-
I guess you're going to see what you want to see regardless. ....that's fine.
-
I just saw your last remark about Stadia and about hoping folks can run it.
-
They never said they loved "single player over multiplayer" in the Newsbot post I believe you are talking about. You need to take the remarks Imran Sarwar made into context. This was in response to a question if R* was moving away from story expansions and why there were none in GTAV: Sarwar is simply stating what R* reps have been saying before and since about single player....... They do love creating these SP experiences in their games. He adds that he doesn't believe MP can deliver the same level of storytelling and immersion a good single-player component can. Also, look at this remarks about GTAV. He feels (as I do) that they delivered a massive and complete single-player game. I also believe this to be true of RDR2. RDR2 stands as one of the best single player games in ages that took ~3,000 people over 7 years to create with a main story script of about 2,000 pages long, about 500,000 lines of dialogue, over 2,000 days of motion capture work, etc. The level of detail in RDR2 sets a benchmark IMO. If RDR2 doesn't show a company that is committed to (loves) delivering an incredible single-player experience, I don't know what does.

Just reminding folks that if someone does provide an answer, I'd ask that they use the spoiler tag option please. We have a lot of PC folks on here now that are just beginning the campaign. Thanks.
-
On normal days, my experience has been that they will typically respond within a couple hours or within 24. However, their Support site say <48 hours. I suspect most responses will be within 2 days perhaps a bit more if they are overwhelmed. Common questions with known answers may get sorted much quicker. ....who knows. Hopefully you hear back soon.

It's going to be PS5 for me. It will have backward compatibility with at least the PS4 titles which is all I want personally. I can continue to play GTAVO, RDO DayZ and other titles I have or will be getting until then. The thing is about PC for me is that it essentially has the market cornered on military, tactical shooters which is a genre I've always loved. ......which can include survival games. AAA devs on console always seem to dumb these kinds of titles down or go more for the run & gun, twitch spin. ......can't wait for Insurgency Sandstorm to some out on console in Spring. Perhaps more of these smaller devs will start porting their titles over if they see others having success. Personally, I think the market is bigger than people think as a lot of folks I meet are either former PC gamers who like milsim-type games or still do on occasion. I just can't go back to building PC's because: 1) I hate the bi-yearly cycle of upgrading components to stay at the level I am accusom to. 2) I love the ability to plop on the couch, turn on the big screen, spark up the PS4 and start playing.
-
Yeah.... That was essentially the gist of it. No one can tell someone it's worth it. Each person needs to decide that for themselves. Even if I was still building gaming PCs I doubt I would buy it again if I already had it for my PS4. On the other hand, if it were available at the same time, I'd likely go with PC instead in that scenario. Personally, I'd be playing more milsim and tactical shooter games, flight sims, etc. if I had a gaming rig.
