THE WOLF MAN: LAST SEEN NEAR LAKE ISABELLANEW LEGENDARY BOUNTY PLUS NEW CLOTHING SHIPMENT, FREE AIM SERIES & MORE While his birth name is still unknown, an estranged and violent hermit known only as The Wolf Man is wanted for a string of brutal murders. Those who seek this feral vagrant be warned: he is believed to have retreated into the snowy foothills near Lake Isabella, an area rife with apex predators such as bears and wolves. Carrying Predator Bait is strongly advised. A short while after completing a Legendary Bounty, it will reappear on Bounty Boards to be played at an increased difficulty - indicated by the number of stars present on the poster. When taking on The Wolf Man at a four-star or five-star difficulty level, he must be turned in alive to receive your reward. Licensed Bounty Hunters who complete The Wolf Man Legendary Bounty at any difficulty level will be rewarded with an exclusive red colorway of the fur lined Red Strayhorn Boots, retrievable within 48 hours of completing the task, in the wardrobe under the ‘Boots’ section. Collectors have a new valuable Weekly Collectible List this week with the Saint Denis Collection consisting of Cognac, the Beaulieux Diamond Ring and Beauchêne Ruby Earrings. Find all the items and turn them into Madam Nazar or send from a Post Office by September 30th. If you're looking to hone your gunslinging skills, this week's Elimination Series (Free Aim) is designed to challenge and reward the most experienced marksmen in the West. Make sure to check the Online menu each week to see the latest competitive Free Aim Series. The Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue expands its offerings this week with a sizeable shipment of diverse new attire. Players in search of new headwear can try the Trilby Hat, Hurley Cap, Ledbetter Hat and Bartley Cap on for size. The new Fuentes Poncho and Killiman Vest offer panache and style, while the Hollman Pants are a picture of American utility and durability. The Chaftin and Olmo Shirts are perfect additions to any gentleman’s wardrobe, while ladies of the frontier might be interested in the stylish Huerta and Winford Shirtwaists as well as the new hide-crafted Hadley Skirt. A new pair of sturdy Rutherford Boots are sure to survive even the most taxing of journeys, while the fur-lined and laced Strayhorn Boots are the perfect footwear for scaling the snow swept peaks and valleys across the five states. Accessorize with the Inglett Scarf or a new design on a classic neckerchief Bandana and you'll be sure to turn heads. Stay tuned for news on more clothing shipments, Legendary Bounty Targets, a new Free Roam Event and more in the coming weeks. In addition to the general rules, here are some reminders and guidelines unique to the Posse Recruitment sub-forum that folks need to consider when posting here: Each member is allowed *one* thread in this sub forum whether that is for the purpose of recruiting or simply to advertise yourself to other posses / members. Additional threads will be deleted. If you have a question or need help with your thread, just ask. Don’t use fellow members threads to openly recruit other folks, advertise your own posse, etc. If you want to respond to someone in their recruitment thread, let's keep the focus about the OP, their posse and/or their request to join one, etc. NOTE: I am not saying folks shouldn't be able to let the OP know about themselves or their posse if that's what they are searching for (please do), but also bear in mind that it’s still the OP’s thread, not a vehicle for you to advertise yourself or your posse for the purpose of recruiting others in the community, etc. ......that’s what your own thread is for. In the spirit of the forum rules, don’t post unless you got something to say. Adding a post to your thread periodically to help keep it alive is fine but don’t be “that guy” that bumps their thread daily especially with words like “bump”, “up”, etc. …..yeah, there are people like that and it’s annoying. Seriously though, it's not only irritating but also unfair to the rest of our members who have threads in here as well. Posts of this nature will be deleted. If you post a thread looking or gauging interest in joining / forming a posse, etc., please show respondents the courtesy of a reply. It's frustrating for those searching to submit a post in response to your request only to be ignored. It also has a tendency to bury other threads where the OPs still actively engaging with the community. Threads that are found to have MIA thread starters may be closed at our discretion. Don't use a posse thread to "call out" the leader or other posse members you may have a problem with. This fall under the naming and shaming rule. If you have a problem with someone who has broken forums rules, is misleading community members, etc. report it to one of us. As mentioned earlier, the general forum rules will still be enforced in this sub-forum as well as the additional guidelines. Threads created that ignore these rules will be deleted so please, don’t abuse this community tool that has been made available to all. …..as continued misuse won’t be tolerated either. Thank You

Fyi.... I just removed a post and wanted to remind folks that members only get one recruitment thread of their own in this forums. Please, let's respect that and try not to recruit other people from within others threads. Let's keep the focus on the OP and their posse, request to join, search, etc.
-
Yeah, I got screwed by the same bug in one session. Didn't notice at first until my friend started ranking up while I wasn't. .....then I noticed I was only getting gold.
-
I wish they would sell permanent homesteads sort of like GTAO properties. .....although several folks operating out of the same location could be a potential powder keg. Perhaps a safe zone for those who own the property as they get close.
-
Perhaps it's been mentioned but maybe part of the problem with the camps has to do with the recent demand since the update.

(XBOX ONLY) Looking to start a posse (Mainly Bounty Hunting) 18+

I'd like to remind folks that members only get *one* recruitment thread in these forums. Please, let's not use other people's threads to promote your own posse to other folks. Let's keep the thread about the OP's own personal request. If you want to promote your posse to the masses, please do that in you own thread. Thanks. -
fyi.... I'm not making excuses for hte bugs but they have been implementing hotfixes. There was one pushed to us last week and then the ones we may not know about on their side that don't require us to download. I can't stress enough however that folks should be reporting these issues to R* even if they are known issues. Keep the pressure up.
-
[EDITED] I also want to remind folks that this is Ben's thread and he is the one looking for a group to join. If you want to invite Ben to your posse / group or friend him as an individual, that's great. .....but let's make sure Ben is the focus in this thread.
-
It's obviously a problem. The only thing folks can do is make to continue reporting the issue. Personally, I wouldn't count on trying to maintain any kind of streak right now until they fix it or you're just going to be beating your head against the wall.
-
Well, of course for RDO. My memory is not that fuzzy. I meant DLC for RDR2 as in the campaign / solo part of the game. ....but yeah, I get it.

GAME TIPS RED DEAD ONLINE Frontier Pursuits offers Bounty Hunters, Traders and Collectors alike the chance to explore the world of Red Dead Online at their own pace, progressing through one or multiple specialist roles as they carve out a place for themselves and seek their fortunes along the way. Whichever paths you're on, we've compiled some tips and tricks to help you on your way to becoming Distinguished in your field: Bounty Hunter If you’re a Bounty Hunter who’s also pursuing the Collector role, keep an eye out for precious Collectibles while tracking down a Bounty. After clearing enemy guards during a Bounty Mission, make sure to loot all the bodies for a chance to find rare items such as Tarot Cards, Antique Bottles and Treasure Maps. Finding Collectibles while on these missions will also award you with Collector XP. As your Bounty Hunter Rank progresses, you'll start to see more lucrative bounties on the Bounty Board - the more difficult the bounty is to turn, the greater your reward. Once you’ve reached Rank 14, evade enemy fire by ducking on horseback (hold L2/LT and press Square/X) Want to rank up faster? Enlist your posse for help rounding up your bounty targets for bonus XP. If you're riding solo and want to bring back multiple targets, you can bring two bounties back at once by lassoing the second target and dragging them along behind you. Be warned: your straggler may not survive the journey. Once you've unlocked Gun Spinning as a Bounty Hunter, double tap L1/LB, then hold R1/RB and follow the on-screen prompts to perform tricks. H/T to u/The_Synth_Potato on Reddit for posting this great clip over on r/RedDeadOnline: Trader Cripps prefers to work with full carcasses rather than parts. Prioritize turning in a full 3-star animal carcass rather than just skinning it. To maximize profits, run Resupply Missions rather than purchasing Supplies. This way, you’ll also get Trader XP for the missions and rank up quickly. Long-distance deliveries can be especially lucrative, but you can take on shorter deliveries in Defensive Mode to protect yourself from opportunists. To maximize the yield of your hunt, stow up to three carcasses on your horse while skinning any additional animals you come across in the wild. While your primary target should be big game, don't forget to look to the skies - birds can make for quick and easy kills on your ride back to camp. At Rank 5, you can purchase a Medium Delivery Wagon to help maximize turnover on Delivery Missions; once you reach Rank 10, upgrade to a Large Delivery Wagon and purchase a Hunting Wagon to haul even more carcasses, hides and pelts. Collector Traveling Saleswoman Madam Nazar often packs up her wagon and moves on to new climes, setting up shop in a different location each day. As a keen-eyed explorer, you may be required to track her down without the use of your map – listen for the sounds of her gramophone when she is nearby. However, you won't need to visit Madam Nazar to cash in on her Weekly Collection list - after you've found the items, you can simply mail them to her at any Post Office location. While purchasing maps is the fastest way to find Collectibles, don’t forget to trigger Eagle Eye as you ride past points of interest - you may stumble across a valuable item you didn't know was there. Loot enemy bodies often as there’s a chance you’ll find Collectibles on them - and make sure to check drawers and cabinets of any buildings you visit also. Selling a full set of Collectibles to Madam Nazar will earn far more RDO$ than selling the same items individually.

Hi Zortos and welcome to the community.
-
Yeah, you're right. I don't know why I completely brain farted on that one. It was a DLC tied to the campaign. .....but yeah, like you I doubt there will be one (or maybe any DLC) for RDR2. Seems they really want folks to use RDO as an NG+ experience for lack of a better term. They've obviously tried to make it a lot more PvE friendly. It's a shame though, I would have liked a unique UN2 experience although it would definitely be fun with friends. My memory is obviously crap... Could you partner up with folks in UN1 or was it solo only?
-
Hi @dead_pit_bull and welcome to the community. We have a recruitment sub forum that you may want to visit and even create your own post in. There you can check out all the active posses looking for member or even create your own. .....or make a thread asking folks if anyone is looking.
-
It's got to be leading up to something IMO.
-
Wow.... Looking fwd to doing more of these.

RDR.org is a fan site. It is not affiliated with R* nor 2K in any way and there are no representatives that openly post here. btw, the disrespectful attitude doesn't fly here no matter how you want to dress it up. You've got a msg. It's your choice. I'm also closing the thread at this point for obvious reasons.
-
I have yet to log on since the patch so I guess I'll see if I notice anything.
-
You mean the reloading, animations and such seemed to have slowed down?
-
That's good to hear. The good news is that they're working on it. I never thought a big update like this wouldn't come without bugs so I was prepared for it. I had the disconnect issues on the first day and then those seemed to disappear in sessions since. I know Rage had the same frozen horse issue. I have a feeling this was an existing bug though as I had that happen to me twice long before this update. Maybe they triggered something that made the problem worse. ....which maybe is a good thing so they can get it fixed.
-
Did you notice any of the other common issues being resolved after yesterday's patch? I never got a chance to get on last night.
-
If you never signed up, that's easy enough to do. If you have a problem with your account, you can submit a ticket through R* Support without needing an account and they can help get you straightened out. If you need a specific link, let me know and I'll dig it up for you. I get that you're frustrated for your own reasons but I am really just trying to help you here with getting your message through to R*. .......and no one here is telling you that you can't post. Just trying to help you get your voice heard with the game developers directly. Just keep in mind that others are going to have opinions about your opinions too. You might think that's "bs" but that's what forums are for, right? Anyhow, feel free to take my advice / help or don't.

Oh, the campaign you mean?
