  1. fyi.... I'm not making excuses for hte bugs but they have been implementing hotfixes. There was one pushed to us last week and then the ones we may not know about on their side that don't require us to download. I can't stress enough however that folks should be reporting these issues to R* even if they are known issues. Keep the pressure up.
  2. [EDITED] I also want to remind folks that this is Ben's thread and he is the one looking for a group to join. If you want to invite Ben to your posse / group or friend him as an individual, that's great. .....but let's make sure Ben is the focus in this thread.
  3. It's obviously a problem. The only thing folks can do is make to continue reporting the issue. Personally, I wouldn't count on trying to maintain any kind of streak right now until they fix it or you're just going to be beating your head against the wall.
  4. Well, of course for RDO. My memory is not that fuzzy. I meant DLC for RDR2 as in the campaign / solo part of the game. ....but yeah, I get it.
  5. GAME TIPS RED DEAD ONLINE Frontier Pursuits offers Bounty Hunters, Traders and Collectors alike the chance to explore the world of Red Dead Online at their own pace, progressing through one or multiple specialist roles as they carve out a place for themselves and seek their fortunes along the way. Whichever paths you're on, we've compiled some tips and tricks to help you on your way to becoming Distinguished in your field: Bounty Hunter If you’re a Bounty Hunter who’s also pursuing the Collector role, keep an eye out for precious Collectibles while tracking down a Bounty. After clearing enemy guards during a Bounty Mission, make sure to loot all the bodies for a chance to find rare items such as Tarot Cards, Antique Bottles and Treasure Maps. Finding Collectibles while on these missions will also award you with Collector XP. As your Bounty Hunter Rank progresses, you'll start to see more lucrative bounties on the Bounty Board - the more difficult the bounty is to turn, the greater your reward. Once you’ve reached Rank 14, evade enemy fire by ducking on horseback (hold L2/LT and press Square/X) Want to rank up faster? Enlist your posse for help rounding up your bounty targets for bonus XP. If you're riding solo and want to bring back multiple targets, you can bring two bounties back at once by lassoing the second target and dragging them along behind you. Be warned: your straggler may not survive the journey. Once you've unlocked Gun Spinning as a Bounty Hunter, double tap L1/LB, then hold R1/RB and follow the on-screen prompts to perform tricks. H/T to u/The_Synth_Potato on Reddit for posting this great clip over on r/RedDeadOnline: Trader Cripps prefers to work with full carcasses rather than parts. Prioritize turning in a full 3-star animal carcass rather than just skinning it. To maximize profits, run Resupply Missions rather than purchasing Supplies. This way, you’ll also get Trader XP for the missions and rank up quickly. Long-distance deliveries can be especially lucrative, but you can take on shorter deliveries in Defensive Mode to protect yourself from opportunists. To maximize the yield of your hunt, stow up to three carcasses on your horse while skinning any additional animals you come across in the wild. While your primary target should be big game, don't forget to look to the skies - birds can make for quick and easy kills on your ride back to camp. At Rank 5, you can purchase a Medium Delivery Wagon to help maximize turnover on Delivery Missions; once you reach Rank 10, upgrade to a Large Delivery Wagon and purchase a Hunting Wagon to haul even more carcasses, hides and pelts. Collector Traveling Saleswoman Madam Nazar often packs up her wagon and moves on to new climes, setting up shop in a different location each day. As a keen-eyed explorer, you may be required to track her down without the use of your map – listen for the sounds of her gramophone when she is nearby. However, you won't need to visit Madam Nazar to cash in on her Weekly Collection list - after you've found the items, you can simply mail them to her at any Post Office location. While purchasing maps is the fastest way to find Collectibles, don’t forget to trigger Eagle Eye as you ride past points of interest - you may stumble across a valuable item you didn't know was there. Loot enemy bodies often as there’s a chance you’ll find Collectibles on them - and make sure to check drawers and cabinets of any buildings you visit also. Selling a full set of Collectibles to Madam Nazar will earn far more RDO$ than selling the same items individually.
  6. Hi Zortos and welcome to the community.
  7. Yeah, you're right. I don't know why I completely brain farted on that one. It was a DLC tied to the campaign. .....but yeah, like you I doubt there will be one (or maybe any DLC) for RDR2. Seems they really want folks to use RDO as an NG+ experience for lack of a better term. They've obviously tried to make it a lot more PvE friendly. It's a shame though, I would have liked a unique UN2 experience although it would definitely be fun with friends. My memory is obviously crap... Could you partner up with folks in UN1 or was it solo only?
  8. Hi @dead_pit_bull and welcome to the community. We have a recruitment sub forum that you may want to visit and even create your own post in. There you can check out all the active posses looking for member or even create your own. .....or make a thread asking folks if anyone is looking.
  9. It's got to be leading up to something IMO.
  10. Wow.... Looking fwd to doing more of these.
  11. RDR.org is a fan site. It is not affiliated with R* nor 2K in any way and there are no representatives that openly post here. btw, the disrespectful attitude doesn't fly here no matter how you want to dress it up. You've got a msg. It's your choice. I'm also closing the thread at this point for obvious reasons.
  12. I have yet to log on since the patch so I guess I'll see if I notice anything.
  13. You mean the reloading, animations and such seemed to have slowed down?
  14. That's good to hear. The good news is that they're working on it. I never thought a big update like this wouldn't come without bugs so I was prepared for it. I had the disconnect issues on the first day and then those seemed to disappear in sessions since. I know Rage had the same frozen horse issue. I have a feeling this was an existing bug though as I had that happen to me twice long before this update. Maybe they triggered something that made the problem worse. ....which maybe is a good thing so they can get it fixed.
  15. Did you notice any of the other common issues being resolved after yesterday's patch? I never got a chance to get on last night.
  16. If you never signed up, that's easy enough to do. If you have a problem with your account, you can submit a ticket through R* Support without needing an account and they can help get you straightened out. If you need a specific link, let me know and I'll dig it up for you. I get that you're frustrated for your own reasons but I am really just trying to help you here with getting your message through to R*. .......and no one here is telling you that you can't post. Just trying to help you get your voice heard with the game developers directly. Just keep in mind that others are going to have opinions about your opinions too. You might think that's "bs" but that's what forums are for, right? Anyhow, feel free to take my advice / help or don't.
  17. Yeah, I don't see R* releasing any kind of separate DLC for RDO. That wouldn't fit their model. Maybe as a story mission of sorts or a special event for all during Halloween? I enjoyed Undead Nightmare in RDR1.
  18. I really enjoyed them myself as well and look fwd to the more difficult ones.
  19. You're just talking about PvP events that are missing then, not other R* games as in titles, etc.? Sorry, I guess I'm just having a difficult time understanding your posts. I also thought you were referring to RDO in general. I don't play the PvP modes myself so you've got me at a disadvantage there. As for your interpretation of what gambling should have been like in this game, you obviously had your own specific expectations of how that should have been implemented. Again, if you feel so strongly about these things lacking in the game I'd strongly suggest you provide your feed back as well through the R* website I left a link to. R* does take that feedback serious and if enough people feel as strongly as you do about it, who knows, maybe they'll bring those PvP modes back, etc.
  20. Yes. R* Support told me that there are have quite a few reporting the same problem and it has been escalated to R*. I don;t know if it's on their list of "known" issues they are working on but if not, I'm sure it will soon be. R* also pushed an update today and likely been working on problems that can be addressed on their own end.
  21. I wouldn't mind a zombie event in free roam if that's the case.
  22. That too.... Either way, seems R* pushed an update today if you look at McLaw's post in this forum. They've also been working behind the scenes on one's related to their servers (since those don't need to be downloaded by us). In my case, my disconnect issues never returned after that first day since the new update.
  23. Glad to see you came back to the game and found a renewed interest @James Hickok_1837. I'm digging the new update as well.
  24. Thanks for posting this @McLawDiz. I would imaging R* has been busy implementing patches as well that affect their servers and then we have ones like these that have to be pushed to the players to update our files. This is exactly what Support had told me they were going to be doing. Let's hope this update solves most problems. Some of my issues had already gone away even before this.
