  2. What is this Murfree Brood Online? The females are even worse. They are all old (even with 18 on slider and complexion adjustments). They are lumpy and disgusting. Rotten teeth, deep wrinkles, unrealistic facial proportions. I just want to be Charlotte, or Sadie. They made them ugly on purpose! The main game everyone is good looking! I am not even going to play unless they fix this.

  3. Obligatory "Post your Creature-I mean Character" thread, anyone? Man, I was appalled when I saw the default "Granny" offered to me. I tried my best to make her look like "sort of" Me at the ripe age of 29, but daaamn, there's some Neanderthal-looking ladies options. And no option to pick separate eyebrows or eye colours? Your eyebrows are tied to the brow bone width, and even the "Narrow" option has a massively round head at the top. Pic incoming of my completed Character... If you visit a Barber, you can get nicer hair styles and not look like you fell out of the hayloft. I got excited to see "Dentistry" offered at the Barber, so I was gonna get me some pearly whites instead of my piss-brown "Chompers" but NOOOPE, you can only choose the exact same options you first get, except the really nasty ones are super expensive!

  4. Feature Request for RDR2 Online: Having everyone shown on the map is discouraging. It creates a toxic environment for players whose main focus to piss others off by killing them repeatedly and makes it too easy to find others. Solution below. Spotting Players: How it would work: "Spotting" another player would mark them on the map for you (or everyone) to see for a limited time (i.e. 2 minutes). Introducing a player spotting system would provide the community with the following benefits: 1. Reduce the amount of unnecessary PVP by trolls who kill others while trying to do tasks, missions, etc. 2. Encourage players to "scout" enemies before engaging. People would use binoculars, scopes, etc before engaging to ensure their target is not with a crew of other players. 3. Increase the online mode's realism. 4. There would be large community support for this - many posts on Reddit would confirm this idea as beneficial for the community. 5. Encourage use of microphone/global chat vs party. Thank you! Matt Rockstar responded to me! They gave me this link to submit the feature request: www.rockstargames.com/mouthoff. They told me the more people that submit the feature the more likely they will implement the feature!

  10. Rockstar Support Twitter posted about an hour ago "We are aware of an issue affecting Xbox One Ultimate Edition players not being able to access Red Dead Online. Please be patient as we investigate this issue." https://twitter.com/RockstarSupport/status/1067428861485420544 It seems there's a small number of PS4 players not able to connect either, but the Xbox issue seems to be affecting all players. I myself have been sitting here for two hours now, unable to connect, just looking for info on why it's not working, seeing streamers not connecting (have been trying to avoid people actually in the game, don't want any spoilers), people without the Ultimate Edition complaining they can't get on, etc. About to have to leave for work, hoping it'll be working when I get home.

  12. At first I was thinking that the name for each actual symbol would be the actual English word for what it is, But House, Lizard, Lizard... but that didnt make any sense. So then I converted each symbol to the respective year. and got 1] 3 4 4 1 5 3 4 4 4 3 1 [2] 1 4 1 1 4 2 1 5 4 4 2 3 1 5 3 5 1 5 1 [3] 1 5 3 2 1 1 2 5 1 5 4 2 4 3 1 1 [4] 5 4 1 1 4 5 2 [5] 1 2 3 1 1 5 4 3 4 3 1 5 [6] 1 1 3. I tried a symbol letter number cipher to decrypt, but it did not make sense. as what i go was the following C D D O C D D D C A N K D U E D D W O C E A O C U L E O D X C K E D A N E B L C K E D C D C A E A M Even tried changing the numbers to give values between 1 and 26 and adjusting 1 4, to 14 to see if it made sense. I just need to figure out what the decryption key is.

  13. Just got finished my first few hours in RDO. I quickly discovered that a lot of players WILL attempt to mess up your active missions such as escorting a caravan or delivering a supply wagon, so don't count on any "noob-truce" going on lol. I have only done two or three missions because getting headshotted out of the wagon gets old super quick. I thought maybe if I just went straight to Horley in that I could make some money further away from the starting zone. I ended up getting jumped by a pack of 4 wolves and a cougar in my travels. I killed them and skinned them, threw the skins on my Ultimate Edition Arabian. I rode to to sell the hides. I went to the General Store, but you can't sell/no option to sell, only Browse the Catalogue. I hustled over to the Butcher, I can sell, but not any items (like meat, hides, wolf hearts). I went down to to the Fence, but the Fence only buys valuables like Jewelry. I looked for a Trapper on the map, but didn't see any. I went back to the General Store/Butcher, thinking maybe I had to physically hand the hides over from my horse. I got there but I couldn't grab the hides from his back. I could access Horse Cargo, which listed my hides but all I could do was Discard/Discard All. I went to the Stable to see if I could afford Horse Insurance yet, which auto-revives your horse if it becomes critically injured. (I ain't about to permanently lose my Ultimate Edition Arabian) but NOPE, Horse Insurance is 5 Gold. I have 0.21 Gold... So I've been trying to keep a Horse Reviver on me, I already used one when my horse Swan-Dive!-ed off a cliff while I was chasing my stolen supply wagon from another player during a mission, so I bought another at the Stable. I step out of the Stable, ALL my pelts are gone! ("Fffff-*******k!") Got frustrated so I decided to try out some racing. Pretty fun, sort of reminds me of Mario Kart with the ruthlessness and weapon pickups lol. Taking a break now. How'd your first session go?

  15. I agree it would be sweet if you could sell weapons, I kill people all the time and they drop all sorts of revolvers, rifles, etc...I seem to have 1-2 of everything they drop but it would be cool if you could collect them and sell them at the gunsmith or the fence.

  17. Two things, unless I find a group of awesome players that make it worth getting online for or they give us a co-op only server. My time online could become limited, cause I have no interest in buying online cards just to keep up with players that troll 24 Seven.

  18. Great request! I know I've used the map to avoid all players because most of them want to kill you. You can't even loot players once they're dead, so why bother killing them when you don't need to? Just to be arseholes, I guess.

  19. The Single Player Ultimate Edition horses are an Ardennes and something else, can't remember but they definitely don't give you an Arabian in Single Player. Your SP horses are separate from the MP horses. In MP, I got an Arabian and again, something else but it SURE beats the "Skinny Nag" you start out with hahahaha, luckily soon after starting you get a from a mission which too is miles better than the Skinny Nag

  24. Nope rockstar hasn’t said a single thing beyond the original tweet to be Patient, kinda bullsh*t to be honest. Defeated the whole purpose for buying the ultimate edition cause I sure as can be didn’t buy it for a horse I still haven’t used and an outfit, so they better work some type of compensation into it cause that extra 40 bucks thus far has been for absolutely nothing.

  26. Yesterday, Rockstar Games confirmed that by the end of this week, all Red Dead Redemption 2 owners will be able to enjoy Red Dead Online. Not everyone, is able to do so at the same time, as only those who have purchased any of the game's Special Editions can enjoy the online multiplayer mode from today. A few hours ago, Red Dead Redemption 2 received a new update which finally added support to the Red Dead Online beta, which has also gone live for those who can access it from today. A lot of gameplay footage has been shared since the beta going live, showing character creation for Red Dead Online as well as some of the story missions, competitive multiplayer modes, free roaming and more. You can find the gameplay footage right below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ginAXJ2WYwA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGvQnaHqiBw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAFqrxvX9yU Together with the addition of the Red Dead Online beta support, the new Red Dead Redemption 2 update introduced fixes for crashing issues that were found in the game's previous version, fixes for stuttering and lag issues, improved frame rate and stability and other minor fixes. Sadly, Rockstar Games hasn't revealed more details on what precisely has been fixed, but more on the matter will surely come in the next few hours. As for what can be done in the Red Dead Online beta, Rockstar Games has confirmed that players are currently able to enjoy the first few story missions of the mode, starting from the escape from the Sisika Penitentiary, located to the east of the map. Once out of prison, players can choose to complete more story missions, set up camp, ride with friends in a Posse, complete the many Free Roam challenges available and simply explore the world, which has some minor differences with the world seen in the single-player campaign. The Red Dead Online beta also features some Stranger missions which will be different depending on the character's current Honor rating. A high rating will result in honorable escorting missions, for example, while a low rating will result in missions where the player may have to help a criminal escape from the law and so on. Also available right now in the Red Dead Online beta are competitive multiplayer modes. They can be played by interacting with the "showdown series" signpost. Right now, players can enjoy: Make it Count: A battle royale mode where players are armed only with a bow and arrows. The player area will gradually shrink during a match, and the last standing player will win. Shootout and Team Shootout: Classic gunfight modes where players have unlimited lives. The player with the most kills wins the match. Most Wanted: An all-against-all mode where the player at the top of the leaderboards is the one with the highest bounty. Hostile Territory: A team-based mode where different teams work have to capture land while defending already conquered territories. The team with the most points at the end of a match wins. Name Your Weapon: In this mode, players are able to use a variety of weapons to kill their opponents. The harder a weapon is to use, the higher the points for each kill will be. The players with the most points at the end of the match wins. The Red Dead Online beta is now live for those who purchased one of the game's Special Editions. It will be available from tomorrow to all those who played the game at launch, and from November 29th to those who played the game between October 26th and October 29th. Everyone else will get access from November 30th. Are you enjoying the Red Dead Online beta? Let us know on our forums. 31. Some of you are hilarious with the massive hyperbole regarding this. It's over! The game is junk! Unplayable! Give me a break. As for this patch, it seems to have made the softness a bit better in some areas while other areas don't seem to be changed. I do not believe it is placebo and feel if Digital Foundry tests it that they will see it has improved a bit. The main difference seems to be in close to medium foliage and objects as there seems to be more detail and depth. If it's not a ps4 pro change then maybe it is some overall graphical change...maybe they tweaked the DoF in the game. All I know is there is more depth and separation between Arthur and the world and between things like separate trees and it looks better than it did last night when I was playing. As for blur while moving the camera, that seems to mainly be the game running at 30fps and Rockstar throwing in default motion blur....it's probably mainly the game running at 30fps. While I don't doubt it can be tweaked a bit more, some of you seem to think Rockstar should be able to create magic with how this game should look on the PS4 Pro and acting like it should be equivalent to how a top of the line gpu could make it look. Comparing it to how other games that have far less foliage and detail is silly because it's obviously going to be easier to make something be sharper with less objects to render. No other game comes anywhere close to this in terms of foliage and detail so something has to give with the nothing special hardware of the PS4 Pro. I've seen some say the game looks better at 1080p and I don't agree with that at all. Yes, it did seem to be a bit sharper in spots but the draw distance is quite a bit worse (so many low quality textures used at a medium distance that makes it distracting until you get near them) and the jaggies are pretty bad. With the Pro version, the draw distance is much improved with higher quality textures at that medium to far distance. I'll take a bit of added softness over objects 60 feet away object being very low quality and standing out because of how low quality they are.

  45. There are some genuine issues with the pro version and if you dont want to contribute, get lost. You have been the most annoying person on here by far. Some the things on here ARE rubbish.. tv modes etc wont fix the blurring. The sharpness slider is only meant for 1080p mode and tricking it into 4k mode etc is NOT a fix. And yes sharpness or screen quality is that issue, basically the whole point of this topic. When im and numerous others are getting headaches from the 4k/SS Mode, something is wrong. Trying to trigger someone with the baby comment is just immature.
