  1. It's funny, but I somehow get the sense that they already have additional content planned for the rollout or "Gold" version of RDO, and that the beta was more to test the servers and economy. There's no way what we've been exposed do should be representative of the final product, apart from performance and mechanics (alleged anti-griefing measures aside), which makes it very difficult for me, personally, to invest too much into the Beta without definitive or declarative statements by R* as to what the "go live" date is for "Gold" and a specific list of impending/planned changes and actions for said "go live" event.

  2. Happened last night. Joined a session and was immediately griefed. Joined a new session, and no one was on it. For about 2 hours I was able to play in peace. Finished Stanger missions without fear of having other players gank my mission. Rn around Saint Denis without fear of being shot in the back of the head, It was great.

  3. Are you for real man??? If it was a problem with your TV, every single game you play on it would have had the same problem. EVERY SINGLE GAME! But this is not the case, is it? No. It is literally ONLY RDR2 having this problem. So where is the cause of the problem? THE GAME!

  4. So, i am ofcourse still playing RDO, and everyday the famous "Glitchers" makes new updates about exploits and so. Quite frankly getting tired of massive Sain Denis invasions, cause of the XP glitch, both down the railroads (Or under) and the staircase cop killings. I think ofcourse Rockstar is aware, but they seem to keep quit so far. The potential in this game is HUGE, if they want to adresse the things the community asks for, to make it a total experience. ALSO adding the small things. Almost everything you can do in the single player should be added in online.. Right now i would LOVE my damn bath, brothel and gambling added. its possible with the online money, and NOT the Goldbar options! So, could there be (finally) our first content update this week? - Combined with the Griefing matter?

  5. So I can't find discussion for this anywhere and I've been curious after I read the Vulture article where Dan Houser briefly mentions it, but doesn't say who; "The acting for Red Dead Redemption 2’s story mode is now complete, but as release day approaches, five hours of the 65-hour game are dumped. At one point, protagonist Arthur Morgan had two love interests, but “we decided one of them didn’t work,” says Dan. And whole missions were removed because “they were never going to work technically or be quite slick enough, or they felt superfluous. We removed a mission on a train where you had to deal with bounty hunters, because it was fun at first, but then it wasn’t. This part of the process is always about compromise and horse trading. Everyone always loses bits of the game they love.” --- So from that quote he mentions Arthur had whole missions with a second love interest and 5 hours of content got dumped. His quote is unclear, I'm assuming he meant Arthur had a second love interest, and on top of that, they cut additional content worth of 5-hours unrelated to his second love interest? Or, he's saying the 5-hours are regarding the second love interest? ---- There are several who could've been his love interest, and this is my personal take and reasoning on why it's possible or not possible: - Mary-Beth.. 21-year old gang member who seems to have a schoolgirl crush on Arthur. Assumed to be love interest because her dance scene. I do not think it was Mary Beth considering Mary Beth already has a romantic plot with Kieran who is the same age as her, and similar personality. The confession scenes are not unique, they are shared with Tilly and Karen and the dance scene isn't unique either, as Arthur can dance with Karen. Arthur is also 36. That's a big gap. Don't think Rockstar would've paired her with Arthur as it'd be easy considering she isn't a widow, and or, had a boyfriend. Mary Beth also ditches the gang without saying goodbye to Arthur. You'd think if she loved Arthur she would've never high tailed it without saying bye. She seems unaffected in the EP as well. - Charlotte. A newly widow, Arthur meets her just when her husband died. She's a normal city girl who knows nothing about nature and she's got money. Age is unknown but by the EP her hair is all grey and she looks as old as Hosea, so possibly older? Personally I do not think there was ever a romantic plot with Arthur. Charlotte and him only knew each other for 3-days. He's coughing up blood and can barely walk. 3-days of knowing someone isn't love. Especially when he's ill. She also won't move out of Annesburg because of her husband (if he had lived, no way could he live in Annesburg with her, he needs a hot climate.) I don't know what you could do with 5 hours of content with Charlotte, hunting rabbits for 5 hours and him falling for Charlotte in 3-days? Sounds like Beauty and the T.B instead of beast to me. I think Charlotte just like Hamish was an optional side mission for his redemption. It'd be contradictory for Arthur to be with her too because she'd end up killed like Eliza. He has PTSD and turns down Mary Linton because of his dangerous lifestyle, if he gets involved with Charlotte she's a target. Charlotte doesn't know he kills people either. She's a basic city girl he isn't into the city. - Mary Linton. She's excluded from this narrative. She's 1/2 for the love interests. Clearly part of a love triangle. - Eliza. Arthur's hookup women who had Arthur's son. She was 19 when Arthur and her met. Only a one night stand that gone wrong. Since she's a one night stand, I don't think there was "love" between them. This would mean Arthur was in his early or mid 20's. There isn't any model or indication she exists in game, or a VA for Eliza, so I don't think she was ever a second love interest. Her story would never fit in the plot, and since it happened years ago it sounds like Eliza and Issac have been dead for more than a decade. - Sadie... Newly widow, been a widow for a total of 6 months, married for 3-years. A widow like Charlotte and Mary Linton. Closest person to Arthur for some reason despite zero relationship development and her transition to gunslinger as good as John, Micah and Arthur happens instantly. Maybe cut content (?) --- Personally (just my opinion), I think out of all of them... Sadie was Arthur's cut love interest considering they become so close out of the blue without any valid explanation. If you have low-honor, Sadie recalls Arthur as her best friend, if you have high-honor, Sadie says "he's the best man she's ever known" aside from her Jake. The high-honor dialog has completely different wordplay. If Sadie was intended to be platonic, Wouldn't Rockar make the high-honor dialog her calling him a best friend? Instead they leave the window open with her putting him on the same wavelength as Jake (which is weird to say considering Arthur kills people, Jake doesn't. Jake was honorable, Arthur is dishonourable but Sadie puts them on the same WL despite only knowing Arthur for a few months, that's a huge thing to say.) I also noticed Arthur writes about Sadie in his journal several times, and has probably the most missions with Sadie. One of the journal entries he calls Sadie a fine woman and admires her right after his Rhodes trip with her. He doesn't call anyone else fine or show attraction to any of the other characters besides Sadie and Mary, so why write she's a "fine woman" and him showing attraction if Rockstar also intended her to be platonic only? Then you have the last chapters. Sadie is the only character out of 23 characters to ask about Arthur's health, she is the only character that refuses to let him do things. Even Charles makes him do things when he can barely walk and accept that he's dying telling him he's should be happy he's dying the way he is. She doesn't (and is shown she's scared of him dying.) She won't let him go get Abigail because he's ill, despite knowing he's capable of handling it in his state she won't let him. The only character who is taking care of him. She doesn't even let him row the boat and calls him "honey" - which isn't ever said by Sadie, so it wasn't out of courtesy/typical southern talk. During an optional mission, I think it's optional, if you help Rainfall's, Sadie helps Arthur without him asking. Proving she's only loyal to Arthur and doesn't care about the gang. Near the ending of the RF mission when Arthur wants to take EF's home, Charles says he'll come, weirdly the camera focuses on Sadie and she loudly says, "And so will I!" Arthur won't let her come though so she quietly whispers, "be safe, Arthur" - even though Charles is him. This scene is a big eyebrow raiser to me. Cause it's just sonout of place. I also noticed a theme where the camera will keep focusing on Sadie while the other characters won't pay attention with her watching Arthur. - There is a recurring theme where Arthur keeps getting abandoned or left to die by his gang. Sadie sees this many times, and she repeats the line more than once, "you and me is all we need" which is purposely done right when his gang of 20 years abandon him. Sounds love interest route to me. - Arthur reacts differently when anything happens to Sadie compared to anyone else. See Tilly and Jack as examples. He also doesn't like Sadie smoking but doesn't care if anyone else smokes. - She's the only female character close to his age. - Hosea's beginning foreshadowing. - Weirdly her R* official bio says she's hellbent on getting revenge for her husband but "loyal to those she loves" ... Her loyalty is shown to only Arthur in the end, not the gang. She was always loyal to Arthur only. Proof would be Chapter 5-6. - I believe just like Mary Linton, only Sadie and Mary have optional missions where you help them or don't and if you do there is a reveal. So, possible love triangle set up thus the optional mechanic choice? - There is several shots of Sadie and Arthur in Heartlands, Sadie in her early ch. 2 outfit riding with Arthur and, Charles. There is another shot with her and Arthur riding in Heartlands alone that doesn't happen, and another one with her and Arthur and Bill in the Cornfields. Her HQ yellow shirt photo is taken the Saint Denis saloon upstairs where she doesn't go. Early game teaser showed her in a bandana riding with the gang. There is also a bit they seemed to cut with Hosea telling a story in ch.2 with Sadie in her ch.6 outfit when Sean was alive. So either this is all scrapped content, or just basic random art promo shots. No idea. So that's my personal theory, I think it was Sadie but it was cut because they decided to kill him off and it wouldn't work because he has T.B and it'd be superfluous / technically won't work because her husband had just died so they scrapped it. It'd only work if Arthur never was going to die unless NA was going to be a last min alternative ending considering he has Bonnie ranch dialog. If we think about it, Arthur doesn't really have a love interest. Seems like Mary Linton was kept because it works with the T.B angle since they were doomed from the start and never was going to happen, just a dream. --- TL;DR: * Who you think was the cut love interest? * Will PC cracked files reveal it, or do you think Rockstar will ever reveal who themselves? * Do you think Dan Houser saying he had two love interests was just an idea at one point but nothing came from it. Completely unrelated to Charlotte, Sadie, M.B but an entire new character or do you think it's a character from current game who they intended him to be with?

  6. Red Dead Redemption features a colorful cast of characters who aren't just there to progress the story, but also to help Arthur in his quest to aid the gang that has become his true family over the years. Among the members of the gang that will provide help to the outlaw is the cook Simon Pearson, who not only provides food for the whole gang but also a crafting service which allows players to obtain a variety of items in exchange for animal parts. In order for Pearson to be able to craft all of the possible items, you need to purchase a specific camp upgrade, the Leather Working Tools. This upgrade costs only $180, so we suggest you purchase as soon as possible since some of the items that the cook can craft for you are extremely useful. In this guide, we will not only list all the items that Pearson can craft but also where to find all the required materials. Satchel Upgrades The most useful items that Pearson can craft are the satchel upgrades. These seven upgrades expand your inventory space for select item types, so getting them will allow you to carry more items which, in turn, can be sold for more money. Crafting these upgrades, however, is going to be difficult if you're not good at hunting since you need perfect pelts, hides, and skins to do so. Once you have one in your possession, donate it to Pearson by selecting the appropriate option when interacting with his wagon. Red Dead Redemption 2_20181026175305Valuables Satchel Increases carrying capacity for valuable items that can be sold for money 1 Perfect beaver skin, 1 perfect rabbit skin Materials Satchel Increases carrying capacity for inedible materials used for crafting 1 Perfect boar hide, 1 perfect iguana skin Provisions Satchel Increases carrying capacity for all provisions 1 Perfect bison hide, 1 perfect raccoon skin Kit Satchel Increases carrying capacity for hit equipment 1 Perfect elk skin, 1 perfect panther skin Ingredients Satchel Increases carrying capacity for edible ingredients used for cooking and tonic crafting 1 Perfect badger skin, 1 perfect squirrel carcass Tonics Satchel Increases carrying capacity for all tonics 1 Perfect buck hide, 1 perfect elk skin Legend of the East Satchel Greatly increases carrying capacity for all item types 1 Perfect wolf skin, 1 perfect cougar skin Cosmetic Camp Upgrades Alongside satchel upgrades, Pearson can also craft a variety of cosmetic camp upgrades. These don't unlock any new features, so craft them only if you wish to make the Van der Linde camp look different than before. Alligator Skull Perfect Alligator Skin Big Horn Ram Skull Perfect Ram Carcass Cougar Pelt Covered Chest 2 Perfect Cougar Pelts Boar Skin Table Cover Perfect Boar Pelt Ox Hide Rug 2 Perfect Ox Hides Boar Skin Rug 4 Perfect Boar Pelts Pronghorn Leather Table Tops 2 Perfect Pronghorn Hides Pronghorn Skull Perfect Pronghorn Carcass Moose Antlers Moose Antler Wolf Skull Perfect Wolf Carcass Snake Skin Banjo Head 2 Perfect Snake Skins Campfire Seat Cover Perfect Beaver Pelt, Perfect Muskrat Pelt, Perfect Fox Pelt Campfire Log Seat Cover Two Perfect Wolf Pelts Lean-to Cow Hide Ground Cover Perfect Cow Hide Scout Fire Ground Cover Two Perfect Goat Hides Elk Antlers Elk Antler Hanging Bones Buck Antlers Where To Find All Needed Materials Finding all the materials needed to craft all of these upgrades is a daunting task, as you need to be doing a lot of hunting, and you need to be good at it as well since you need perfect pelts, hides, skins, and carcasses. In order to get a perfect hide, pelt, skin, and carcass, you need to perform a perfect kill on animals that have a three-star rating, as they are the only ones that can drop perfect materials. To perform a special kill, you must kill the animal with the correct weapon and without damaging its body too much. As a general rule, small animals require the Varmint Rifle for perfect kills, medium-sized animals like deer the bow and arrow, and big animals rifles. You can check out our guide here for more information. To make gathering the materials required to craft all of Pearson's items, we will list the exact quantity needed and where to find the animal. Always remember that it has to be a three-star animal to get perfect materials, so make sure to analyze the animal beforehand while hunting to avoid wasting time. Perfect Bison Hide You will need a single perfect bison hide to craft all of Pearson's items. To get a perfect kill, you can use the Poison Arrow, with a single arrow aimed at the head, or get headshots with any rifle or sniper rifle. These animals can be found to the west of Blackwater, and in the Heartlands Overflow to the southwest of Annesburg. Perfect Boar Pelt You will need six perfect boar pelts to craft all of Pearson's items. Boars are found all over the Lemoyne region, near forested areas. To get a perfect kill, you can use regular arrows, poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles. Always go for headshots to avoid damaging the animal's body. Perfect Rabbit Pelt You will need one perfect rabbit pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. Rabbits are extremely common, and they can be found in most areas near Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes and Saint Denis. The only way to perform a perfect kill on rabbits is by using the Varmint Rifle armed with 0.22 shells. Perfect Raccoon Pelt You will need one perfect raccoon pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. This animal is common in the Lemoyne, New Hanover and West Elizabeth regions. The only way to get a perfect kill on raccoons is by using the Varmin Rifle loaded with 0.22 shells Perfect Beaver Pelt You will need two perfect beaver pelts to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals are a bit tricky to find, as they are small and only spawn in a few very small areas, The best area to find them is near the E and R in New Hanover on the map. There are multiple ways to get a perfect kill on beavers: with the bow armed with arrow, repeaters, rifles and sniper rifles. Perfect Elk Pelt + Elk Antler You will need two perfect elk pelts and one elk antler to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals are common in the coldest areas of the map, specifically in the Ambarino region and to the north of Annesburg. Getting a perfect kill on elks is easy, as you can use poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles. Perfect Goat Hide You will need two perfect goat hides to craft all of Pearson's items. Wild goats are not that common, but they spawn quite often in an area a little to the north of Saint Denis, near the coast. To get a perfect kill on these animals, you can use the regular arrows, poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles. Always go for headshots to avoid damaging the animal too much. Perfect Fox Pelt You will need one single perfect fox pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. Foxes are quite common in Red Dead Redemption 2, and they tend to spawn in forested areas in Ambarino and Lemoyne. To get a perfect kill on a fox, you can use the bow with regular or poison arrows, repeaters, rifle, and sniper rifles. Perfect Cow Hide You will need a single perfect cow hide to craft all of Pearson's items. Cows are found in several different small areas all over the map, but the best area is the same one where goats spawn more often, to the north of Saint Denis, very close to the coast. To get a perfect kill on cows, you can use the bow with poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles Perfect Muskrat Pelt You will need just one perfect muskrat pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. This rodent is pretty common in several areas of the map, including areas to the north of Annesburg and to the west and south of Strawberry. The only way to get a perfect kill on a muskrat is by using the Varmint Rifle armed with 0.22 shots. Perfect Alligator Skin You will need one single perfect alligator skin to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals can only be found in the swamps surrounding Saint Denis, but they are quite common so it shouldn't be a problem to find them. To get a perfect kill on any alligator, you can use the bow with poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles. It may take more than a single shot to kill them with firearms, so you can use improved ammo to avoid damaging the animal too much. Perfect Snake Skin You will need two perfect snake skins to craft all of Pearson's items. Snakes can be found in several different areas, but the best one is near the road going from Saint Denis to the Van Horn Trading Post and Annesburg. You will need to flush them out, though, so use predator bait to make things easier. The only way to get a perfect kill on a snake is by using the bow with small game arrows. Perfect Wolf Pelt + Perfect Wolf Carcass You will need three perfect wolf pelts and a single perfect wolf carcass to craft all of Pearson's items. Wolves are quite elusive in Red Dead Redemption 2, and they can only be found in West Elizabeth and Ambarino. The area right above the "O" in Ambarino on the map is the best one to choose as hunting spot. To get a perfect kill on wolves, you can use the bow with regular or poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles. Perfect Pronghorn Hide + Perfect Pronghorn Carcass You will need two perfect pronghorn hides and one perfect pronghorn carcass to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals are extremely common in the New Hanover regions, especially in the areas next to the "New" in New Hanover on the map, and to the south of them, near Flat Iron Lake. To get a perfect kill on pronghorns, you can use the bow with regular or poison arrows,, rifles and sniper rifles. Perfect Iguana Skin You will need one perfect iguana skin to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals are quite rare, and they only appear in the northern part of the island on the eastern side of Flat Iron Lake. Once you reach the Epilogue, they can also be found all over the New Austin region. The Varmint Rifle with .022 rounds is the only way to get a perfect kill on iguanas. Perfect Panther Pelt You will need a single perfect panther pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. Panthers are very rare, and they only spawn in two specific areas: to the very south of Rhodes, near the river banks to the southeast of Braithwaite Manor and to the north of Saint Denis, slightly to the north of the "N" and "E" in Lemoyne on the map. To get perfect kills on panthers, you can use the bow with regular or poison arrows, rifles and sniper rifles. Perfect Buck Pelt + Buck Antler You will need one single perfect buck pelt and one buck antler to craft all of Pearson's items. Bucks are very common, and they can be found in the Lemoyne regions as well as in the northern parts of the New Hanover region, close to the border with Ambarino. You can use the bow with arrows and poison arrows, rifles and sniper rifles to get perfect kills on them. Perfect Ox Hide You will need two perfect ox hides to craft all of Pearson's items. Oxes are somewhat rare on the map, and they spawn only in select regions in the New Hanover and Lemoyne regions. The best hunting areas are directly to the north of Braithwaithe Manor and to the north and east of Rhodes. You can perform a perfect kill on oxes by using the bow with poison arrows, rifles and sniper rifles. Perfect Deer Pelt You will need seven perfect deer pelts to craft all of Pearson's items. Deer is one of the most common animals in the game, and you will find them near forested areas all over Lemoyne and the eastern part of Ambarino. To get a perfect kill on them, you can use the bow with regular or poison arrows, rifles and sniper rifles. Perfect Cougar Pelt You will need three perfect cougar pelts to craft all of Pearson's items. Cougars are quite rare, and they mostly spawn in select areas in New Austin, such as to the south of Blackwater, near the southwestern side of Flat Iron Lake and to the northwest of the "A" in New Austin on the map. They can also be found in a very small area near the border of the map a little to the southwest of the "W" in West Elizabeth on the map. To get a perfect kill on cougars, you can use the bow with regular or poison arrows, rifles and sniper rifles. Perfect Badger Pelt You will need a single perfect badger pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals are extemely common in the Lemoyne region, near Rhodes and Braithwaite Manor. To get a perfect kill on a badger, you must use the Varmint Rifle armed with 0.22 shots. Perfect Squirrel Pelt You will need one perfect squirrel pelt to craft all of Pearson's items. These animals are common in all forested areas on the map, such as the forests near Strawberry, to the north of Annesburg, and in Ambarino and West Elizabeth. You need the small game arrow to perform a perfect kill on squirrels. Perfect Ram Carcass You will need just one perfect ram carcass to craft all of Pearson's items. Rams are easy to find in Ambarino and West Elizabeth, specifically in the areas close to the "West" on the map. To get a perfect kill on rams, you can use the bow with arrows or poison arrows, rifles and sniper rifles. Moose Antler You will need a single moose antler to craft all of Pearson's items. Mooses are quite rare, and they can be found to the west of Blackwater in West Elizabeth and to the north of Annesburg, in the areas close to the edge of the map. You need to kill mooses with the bow armed with poison arrows, rifles, and sniper rifles to get perfect kills. 9. Not true. It isn't easy, but I have known people who have fallen in love. With one of them knowing they would die soon enough. My mother dated a gent who had cancer when they met. They dated for over a year knowing that tomorrow may never come.

  10. Honestly if were being realistic, him having an affair with Lenny is more realistic then him not having a love interest in general. Living in the wilderness on the run, no phones but a big group, like your bound to fall for somebody. Literally everyone in camp has a love interest besides Tilly. Which I find funny. As a female player, I'm a sucker for anything romantic. Even if it's cheesy. I was so grossed out by Arthur and Mary's relationship though, but it's understandable considering he's ill and therefore no way could he ever love anyone considering as months fly by and relationship development happens one another, he's dying. I truly think it was all cut cause his T.B cause it's impossible to love anyone with a disease. And it wouldn't make sense considering the ending.

  11. What's weird to me is how they wrote her official bio "Hellbent on getting revenge, loyal to those she loves." I don't think I added that to my own thread unless I did, can't remember but it makes it even more obvious. She has no loyalty to the gang, as she doesn't follow Dutch which is shown in Chapter 5-6 and she only rides with Arthur and chose to follow him. Was going to ride with him when he rescued Eagle Flies but he won't let her and the camera weirdly focuses on her. She waits for Arthur's word. Like even the bio is a dead giveaway. She isn't loyal to John either, she only came by because she wanted revenge for Arthur. Wouldn't visit him, his family or Charles and Uncle.

  12. i like them left out personally, gives your imagination room to work. Unless it's an utterly boring, way to long game like Witcher 3, then yeah put them in for something entertaining in the game.

  13. I must admit that I am utterly bored when it comes to zombies. It feels like when someone loses their imagination they just use zombies, be it a movie,tv show, book or game... I really would like something else than zombies as I am so tired to see them in every game there ever was and will be.

  14. As Arthur’s second or even first love interest have no further impact on the first RDR and the canonical events, I had hoped for some freedom of choice when playing. When I play as Arthur I feel that it would have been natural for him to get some companionship, and I mean emotionally as well as sexually. So I do believe that we should have got the option to try to be sweet on whomever we wanted in the camp, it would have made for an even better story. But to answer the question at hand, I am certain Sadie was the intended second love interest even if I personally would have preferred Mary-Beth or Tilly as they are more interesting as characters and less of a stereotype.

  15. No it is not only the TV. The checkerboard rendering is really bad, but with the tv update and with the reducing of the motion blur it looks much better. It is really necesarry to use a hdmi premium cable. It is a big difference in all games. I think sony changes something too, with update 6.20 of system software. I think rockstar has changed the motion blur with the latest patch. It is minor now. You can feel the change, when you turning around the camera in third person. It is all clearer and causing no headache. With the tv update other titles looking now like real 4k, especially god of war, shadow of the tomb raider and spiderman I´m now in the epilogue of thge game and have really enjoined the story of the game. With systemsoftware update 6.20 it is a big difference for me ,to play with boost mode or without boostmode. I turn it off now for cleaner graphics and lesser stuttering. All this is really strange, but now the fanspeed of the ps4 pro and the noiselevel is a bit higher in newer games. Strange

  19. i like the smaller size, to me they look and seem more nimble, the larger horses seem like lumbering hulks that should be pulling plows and wagons rather than being ridden. Besides that, if you've ever ridden a horse for a while, you get sore faster on the bigger ones than riding a smaller horse (or maybe it's just me getting old). Much rather ride an arabian or quarter horse sized than a turkoman for a full day.

  24. When your in a Posse with 4 man, you can close them in. You can use fast travel to, so you get 2 man infront and 2 at the back. Do i like the mission= NO . Euphoric77 , your not the only 1 with a fast horse. I have seen 1 running to his camp and we can't get him becausse he whas in his camp thats a way to. I do the fast travel up and down the map they never got to me on time. I also hate it when they are not able to catch you on time they troll you afther time limmit is don, thats a little messt up.

  25. The Beta can last as long as they want it to last honestly. If they are not satisfied with calling it the "official version" it will stay beta. Honestly, it really doesn't matter to me what they call it, because they can just keep adding features and fix bugs along the way even if it was called the official version.

  27. I agree. If they want to try and make my life miserable I'll do the same to them if I feel so inclined (especially with a posse), up to the point where I feel they've got the message. Sometimes that's them simply running away, parleying or (typically) quitting the session. I would never go as far as to follow someone to another session though. ....or even be bothered to do so. I will add them to my block list however. Mind you, this is what I would do to someone who purposely tries to troll me. I don't do this to those who engage me in missions where it's appropriate or what I feel may have been by accident, a misunderstanding or my own fault for doing something that may have seemed provocative. Giving someone a taste of their own medicine is nowhere near the same IMO.

  29. I agree, some of the names are enough to warrant a block IMO. ....and like I said, once I go into their profile to block them, there are sometimes remarks in their description of themselves that only serve to backup my suspicions that they probably like to troll other players. One description actually said something to the effect that "if you're here, I probably slit your throat". .....likely meaning that you are there to block them because they probably trolled you. Yeah, that one was a no-brainer. 😄

  30. @Diss No one can say for sure either way. The fact they have not so far is no indication that they never will. This is a beta and as such, it makes sense to me that they would hold off on the introduction of certain components (like other modes / features) until they can deliver a solid foundation to build on. It also makes sense to me that they would not want to break up sessions so that they could stress test the servers especially over the holidays. Just so you are aware, there was information uncovered my data miners back in October regarding placeholders, etc. in the app that pointed to several currently unannounced features that may be arriving at some point. .....including “private sessions” and “seamless PvE (player vs. environment).” There were also placeholders for vehicles and properties. R*'s last update to the community mentioned anti-griefing measures being worked on as a result of community feedback. ....so I would suggest you breath easy as there is a lot more to come even though we not sure what all of that might be. You're right that invite-only sessions were a part of GTAVO and personally, I hope they include them in RDO as well (with a few modifications). The good news is that griefing is nowhere near the level of GTA and it appears R* is willing to do something about the current problem. I would also suggest that you add your suggestions / feedback on the site they have provided: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=addb2b0b The community input is very valuable at this point in development and they are at least listening.

  35. I I don't see any problem. The day / night cycle seems to be ok. The fog tends to be a little over the top. Mind you I have never been to Louisiana. And I believe Lemoyne County is based on that state.

  38. The Varmint rifle is OP as that everyone should have it for hunting. If you do not have it , you are missing out on a lot of USD. I never do PVP modes and FOr PVP in free roam i run with the lancaster repeater / pump shotty / and 2 mausers (all with special ammo) or 2 sawed offs / sniper and repeater. I tend to not attack anyone , however if posse members / myself or my horse get shot or shot at the time has come to equip the dynamite arrows. got a tripple kill with it yesterday and flying corpses look fun.

  39. supposedly 80% of the bounty is all they take if you surrender. I always just pay my bounty off in a different state. you get so much money from looting, hunting, treasures, etc. paying off an $800 bounty is no big deal.

  40. I'll take action on that, if only for the fact that they don't care about what we think. If anything, they'll just refund everyone's Gold to the original value or amount purchased, but that's all they'd really have to do to satisfy any legal requirements. Exactly what they would do. It's the simplest solution. It's a competitive business. And late February through March is going to be insane for gaming releases (assuming they don't delay Anthem or The Division 2). I know that I'm not overly enthused with the online portion of RDR2 at the moment, but they have about two months to get me engaged before I jump ship. High praise. It's a fantastic game, to be sure, and one of the best I've played in a long time, but "the best game ever"? I don't think I'd go that far. This guy gets it. I've been adamant since the day Gold launched during beta that purchasing it should be avoided at all costs; anything can be rolled back for any reason during beta--that's why it's a "beta". And I've seen it happen too many times in the past to believe differently. I'd be willing to bet fewer than 1% of games go through a beta process without substantive changes--and the types of changes we're talking about usually have significant alterations (both directly and indirectly) to core game mechanics, and in this instance, the in-game economy. They won't see a dime from me until they release a finished product. Ask people who sunk money into the Marvel Heroes Omega on PC, PS4, and XB1 how they feel about the money they spent--as big a cautionary tale as there is. We all know RDR Online is under no threat of shuttering within six months, but the fact that it's in beta and will continue to be for the foreseeable future is a HUGE red flag for myself and others when it comes to pouring more cash into the game.

  41. Or how selective their witnessing seems to go. Recently riding and saw a stagecoach being robbed. I stop and walk up and the robbers start to challenge me,. Bad guys draw and fire. I draw and fire. I kill the bad guys. The person I just saved then takes off running and reports my crime. For heaven's sake, I just saved your life. At least give me a 5 minute headstart you little twerp. I didn't eve loot the bodies or rob the coach.

  43. My main horse is a special boy. I don't know if he was born and landing on his head or what. He seems to have moments where he functions as a normal horse and then other times, maybe he thinks he is a bird? Not really sure. I named him "Horrorse". Basically, horror and horse combined.

  44. read this wrong, you're talking expansion to the game. We know what happens with John after RDR2, why not the rest? I think it would be fun to play as Sadie and see her story expanded. Or play as Bill/Dutch/Charles up until they get killed by John in RDR. Or why not go farther back and see how each member (and the ladies) got to be in the gang.

  45. I have tried to relate the names of my horse to cars some how. I have a thoroughbred. There is a is a car dealership nearby call Thoroughbred Ford. So my horse's name Ford and yes he has been Found On the Road Dead a few times.

  48. true - you have 7 active members at one time, you can have a 'squad' of players, or players banked who remain in your posse 'list' but only 7 can be active at one time in the same posse
