Agreed. It's bad enough that we spawn 100 yards away from where we died, but to put our blip up right away is a bit much. The upcoming updates are supposed to have some blip modifications. Let's hope it's what we want.

I think it has been long enough to ask. Most people should be done or nearly done with the game by now if they bought it right away. What part of the story would you consider bad? I am curious because I see one part, in particular, being mentioned a lot and I want to see if it holds true here.

I wasnt crazy about the Guarma trip. It kind of killed the western vibe and felt like I was playing any version of Farcry. I would have preferred to have spent that time in Sisika Prison picking up bars of soap off of the shower floor.

I didn't notice much of a difference myself. Everyone is different though. Like I tend to shoot better without scopes with most guns.

UPDATE: So after completing all but the very last mission at Beechers Hope, I finally got a crafting fire and now can craft at home or on the road,. I still think on my first play through I had a crafting fire from the get go but maybe Im mistaken, I dunno. Anyway I have it working, so no worries. Lump

I give the Story Narrative a "C" overall The premise of an outlaw gang in its last days, fleeing civilization and searching for a safe place to live out their days is great, but why do they continue to migrate east, closer to civilization and big cities? And a Western without a Cattle Drive? Some of the individual missions were fun but mostly the main story is the weakest part of the game by far.

I agree with this, why it would be so complicated to use cheats in single player mode is beyond me. I have not used cheats as I personally do not see any reason for it in this game but I should be able to play a single player game the way I prefer, cheats or no cheats. So yes, dismantle the achievements and whatever it is called if one cheats but not allowing one to save after cheating is just retarded in a single player game.

I understand that and I don't think you should be able earn achievements with cheats I myself don't really care about achievements I just want save my game with the cheats on

Sorry you got spawn killed. Most likely another Varmint Rifle / auto aim issue. Varmint needs to be nerfed to 2 headshots for a kill. Lobbies need to be split. Imagine a world where griefers actually get punished and the un-skilled dont survive. Its called a free aim lobby and it increases immersion and even roleplaying possibilities. Players who cant handle themselves in a fight wont pick them as often.

They will likely expand the game in that region be it online only or DLC stories. This is what I am assuming anyways.

What would be the point of remaking it though? Red Dead Redemption follows the life of John after leaving the gang. There is only a small amount of time between RDR2 ending and RDR1 beginning.

I don't understand why they allow other players to know where you will spawn back in. I have gotten killed and lassoed a number of times thanks to this. You should at least have a 30 to 60 second window of time before you can be attacked.

I finished the story a week after the game was released. It would have been quicker had it not been for those pesky distractions in real life. It's rare for me to finish a game, but RDR is on a whole other level. Most of my time is spent trying to get 100% completion now.

I was a big fan of RDR1 Poker lobby but none of the other aspects of online play. After several months of that, it went downhill pretty quickly. What started out as adult fun turned into teaching obnoxious 12 year olds what beats what. I am an old. When I started gaming, high speed connections were rare and sporadic. If 10 people were dumped into map, 5 might have 56k modems, some might have 1mbs dsl and others would have 3mbs cable connections. Guess who got their asses kicked? Mix in some lag switches and just bad game programming and you had a recipe for garbage. I just learned to live without online gaming. I kicked on my PS3 for giggles and saw that RDRonline was still a thing. I played a couple of games of poker with one other person. Then I stood around for waiting for a new game to start, which never happened. The game is still free to play and Sony doesnt get its 10 buck a month cut. Nothing pi$$es an old man off more than paying for nothing. When gaming companies started selling "beta" as products, old guys clinched their fists and shook them toward the sky! Beta used to mean, "Play a free game so we can work the bugs out." Now it means, "Play a buggy game and make us some gold bars. And if you dont like this.....go play Fallout 76". I follow the online forum also. When I see that R* has added some features and completed making the game, I will give it a look. Of course, everyone else will be at level 743 and I will be at level 1, so maybe not.

Actually pretty close I think. With out knowing exactly how they got it programmed. I would think that server side is able to access it's data before the consoles do and are able to respond. Could just be the delay in communication between the different machines and how fast they process that data.

Yes sir ! Also I've noticed an influx of people getting there hands on explosive ammo. They have to be level 93 I think to buy that pamphlet. And let me tell you my friend that stuff is straight nasty ! If a posse of 7 all had that stuff lord help us all !! I'm on a mission to get it ! Level 76 right now and climbing.

No ones running here mate.i fight back.im talking about the realism of the game being a shooting game and free roam.people can do what they like.mate take a look yourself how many people moaning and bitching because they got shot.and as for leaving lobby im saying if people find themselves outnumbered and cant get on in the game as they wish find another lobby.and no im not some bad ass cowboy i live in 2019 and have a job.its just a game for me to enjoy best i can.dont try think you can pick holes in my comments and think your clever with some smart ass comment back.my points are valid.and yes there were bullys in the wild west who did go shoot and kill all those indians for fun and there own people and not much has changed to this day.the world is full of bullys.killing and robbing.ruining many other peoples existence.the games real.as real as can be.look at history on a whole and many civlilisations killed others for fun and stole because they are bored of there own lives.and want more than they have.just like in the game i can look at a lobby and you can kind of tell if its a friendly lobby or pure chaos.maybe people want rockstar to make lobbys just for hunters to grind xp and money wihout the fear of others attacking and i get that its hard if your solo but they want peolple to team up and work as a team to defend each other and play the game as freely as possible.to many rules will make it not the wild west.even see some post about people saying a griefer should get jail time in game.like come on.get real.i never run unless those players outnumber me playing solo and its just waist all my time and supplies.if im with boys we deal bit of revenge for attacking us then move on as we do not attack anyone out of the blue.only if they try it with us.

At the end of the day once you find good players to play with and have each others back that's what it's all about.was playing solo last night and a bit today doing missions not caring at all.I had a lot of players attack me and steal my stuff but it's been fun and annoying at the same time.frustration followed by laughter.get my piece of revenge then move on to next mission.leveled up twice with grief on the side.I call it not giving a ****.I will walk into town and not care.you never know who your gonna meet.met a couple of decent players just walking to them.not everyone in the game is a griefer.if I walk into trouble then so be it.

100% my friend ! And one more thing , am I to believe that half of these players never played cops and robbers as a kid ? No cowboys vs Indians ? Maybe I'm an old fart but dang I'm thinking they should stay in story mode or grow a pair ! As you mentioned it's about befriending good folk or bad , whatever your into. I'm with you on that, on top of things I play on Free Aim (the way the game should have been played)) so I'm usually at a disadvantage. Just yesterday I was fishing minding my own business and got sniped from a hilltop. I brushed it off and just went right back to fishing, he continued to kill me eventually 2 more times. It was pathetic how this kid enjoyed playing the game, I wasn't even fighting back until eventually I Sniped him and he left the server.

Video games are just a phase that you will eventually grow out of. (Pac-man was released in 1980.) The younger folks should just be happy that it keeps us off the streets and out of trouble.

you might be thinking of a different one. The first map is found at Cairn Lake. There's also a derailed train car in a canyon up near Cotarra springs that is quite fun to get to. you get a gold bar, some jewelry and a nugget or 2.

have you done the Poisonous Trail treasure? that will get you 4 gold bars and other loot fairly quickly. I've not heard of any big cash like that other than the gold exploit. If you're on Xbox it's not worth it, you only get 2 bars. I've read PS4 players have gotten 30 or more bars, that would ruin the game for me, i like being poor and having to earn cash to pay off bounties and such. I did the exploit just to see and only got 2 bars, then had to restore a previous save and went back and just took the 1 bar. I'm playing the red hat though, so killing and looting, robbing, hunting, treasures, and missions has kept my coin pouch right around 3k since chapter 2, was much easier after getting the legend of the east satchel.

@jACKx I found out in the story game early on about saddles and stirrups. They each add speed! Despite all my grinding my initial horse, Yancy, is as fast as a three-wheeled skateboard. But he's grown on me despite a little gunshy-ness. Upgraded Gerden Vaquero saddle is BEST, and hooded stirrups as said previously.

Speed and accelaration, as well as stamina / health core drain of horse.
