It really comes down to opportunity for me. When I spawn in, I get shot in the head by some try-hard with a Varmit Rifle within about twenty seconds while I orient myself about half the time. If I have time, I whistle over my horse and take off for the largest gap in the player blips on my mini map until I get some distance to plot my next move. More often than not, I spawn into firefights if I just enter free roam, and even when I select region-specific entries, R* tends to put me into a game that's densely populated when I spawn (probably by design). IMO, it's more than a bit ridiculous to have people wait to load, spawn, and then spend ten minutes riding across the map for some peace and quiet, or attempting to do a mission.3 points

Look pasties months I Red Dead Redemption Online a lot and what I have found kind of sucks first I made a character who was white nothing out of the ordinary every now and then they would be a few douchebags who would mess with you and stuff like that but it wouldn't the last longer than a couple minutes now I made a black character cuz I am a black man and I found that I couldn't go to a game at all. Getting shot at or being roped up by random people randomly I just think a lot of racist people on here or people being racist towards black people in this game which you don't need to I mean it's a game and if you fully immerse yourself in you want to take on the part of a racist hillbilly and wants to rope black people up I mean look man I just think it sucked up wish there was some way to solve this problem which was probably a hard problem to solve let me know if anyone on here has felt the same way at all I mean for me and my friends which it's a group of black guys have all felt the same way and no we don't go on there and grief because let's be honest that's really annoying and we're trying to play the game and enjoy it have fun so let me know1 point

- Trapper in Red Dead Online that works just as it does in singleplayer - Add the LeMatt Revolver and a poncho - Reintroduce PVE Servers/Friendly Freeroams and remove all god mode from normal servers - Fix or remove all the overpowered tryhard Ability Cards, Never Without One, Slow And Steady etc1 point

I'm semi-retired but even though I'm at home I still can't bring myself to game during the day. Not that I never do but I guess it just makes me feel weird if I'm not doing other things with my time during the day. Took a year just to get used to the whole "not working" thing.1 point

Give the license to Koei and let them do Dynasty Warriors with the SW license. You could do zombies as an add-on or DLC. Edit: close 2nd would be Arrowhead. Use the engine from Helldivers and make a SW game out if it.1 point

i think that would be kinda boring. 3 or 4 jedi's with light sabers would take out a few hundred thousand zombies without breaking a sweat, and then they'd use the force to decimate the rest overwhelming horde. By this time it'd be brunch, so they stop for some coffee, maybe invite a few of the Empire over for tea and biscuits, after which the Empire would turn on the jedi's, who'd escape through some tunnels or something just as another horde of zombies appears and eats the Empire dudes.1 point

Just thought I would give a wee shout out for this film, currently showing on a popular movie streaming platform, just in case it had passed anyone by, it's by the Coen Brothers. I'm kinda surprised not to see it mentioned here, cos all the way through it screamed RDR2! at me. Loved it, loved the scenery, loved the characters, loved the humour, black as black as it was... Wonder how it would go down if they played it in the tent at Valentine..?1 point

Make the suggestion to R*. I think it's a good idea and one that others have expressed as well: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=f2e508921 point

I make that trip all the time hunting for cougars in the area. I just follow the rail back down to Saint Denis being very cautious about other players in the area on the way back. I love that trip because there's also birds, gators, deer, bucks, rabbits, elk, boar and muskrats along the way.1 point

There's a double cougar spawn right outside of Tumbleweed. Every 5 minutes is $40, good spot if you want some quick cash. Plus pigs everywhere and pronghorn I believe. Very close to the only butcher in the area too. Just be careful on the second cougar spawn as it sometimes literally will spawn right next to you like it did me a few times lol (got startled and shot it several times ruining it).1 point

They're most likely using multi-lingual Boolean modifiers to scan for inappropriate names. If what you're saying is accurate (the limitations of my Espanol are "Donde esta el bano" and "Un cerveza, por favor"), then the double whammy of the "marica" and the "rica" being slang for "sexy" probably got it on the list. I imagine anything with "sex" or a derivation of it will be flagged in English. Which is hilarious for an "M" rated game, but whatever floats their proverbial boat. I had a great name picked out for my horse, but the profanity filter picked it up right away.1 point

Also, there's the Panther South of Braithwait manor, which I believe is the animal that sells for the most money. A 3 star will net you $22.50 for carcass, pelt, meat, claw.1 point

I know!!! What a pain! 🙃 I'm seriously thinking of downloading it for £50 (special edition like my game-disc) and hoping it doesn't wipe my level 87 character. 🤢🤮1 point

Most guys in those days seemed to be in dire need of a good bath. In fact, the pigs had something in common with them.1 point

I keep shavin' the darn thing! I like to grow it out a bit and get that worn, action man typa look and then i usually decide to shave it to resemble a supposed decent looking human being again.1 point

There's an image icon that if you click it will allow you to change the background picture. It's referred to as the posse icon I believe. I just checked it on mine I am able to change it this way.1 point

@MaryW I figured Polly was calm because she was tipsy from throwing back a few whiskys after spawning into the saloons 😎👍😂1 point

Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2 is something of a casual artist, filling his personal journal with drawings related to the events of the game. These drawings have been the subject of praise from fans ever since the game was released, and recently one particular fan took it upon themselves to recreate the entire thing in real life. If you take the time to read Arthur's journal - which you really should - you'll see portraits of characters encountered during the story, landscapes and cityscapes showing off areas and sketches of animals and plants found throughout the frontier. The creator of this replica, who goes by JamesyMonkey online, has recreated these drawings with loving detail. Arthur also writes summaries of his days, mainly of story missions or side quests that have some narrative significance, or of his interactions with characters. It's all written in old-timey cursive, which JamesyMonkey has managed to copy as well. It must take no small amount of patience and skill to pull something like this off. The replica has been making the rounds on Red Dead related community sites with many fans expressing a desire to buy copies of the replica should it be made in larger quantities. Since this replica isn't even entirely finished - the creator has been posting work-in-progress images - and it's all handcrafted, mass production is unlikely unless Rockstar decides to produce a series of replicas as merchandise. However, seeing as the content of the journal changes based on your actions in the story, if Rockstar would release any one version, it would only be authentic for a small slice of the player base. Creating several version in mass production is unfeasible, and while should he be inclined, JamesyMonkey could potentially launch an Etsy store or something and take up orders, but that might bring with it some legal trouble. So for now, if you also want a custom replica of Arthur Morgan's journal from Red Dead Redemption 2, you'll have to make it yourself. You can check out a larger gallery of the replica here. The post Fan Creates Replica Of Arthur's Journal appeared first on RDR2.org. Read the full story1 point

I like the feeling of wet grass on my feet. Everyone I know absolutely hates it. I grew up on a farm (12 years) so it wasn't something that was ever weird for me lol1 point

you mean it's 10 times (or more) more noticeable. and who coasts in a car? much more fun to have your foot on the floor, both hands in a death grip on the wheel and a stupid grin on your face. there's a back country road nearby that has been called the "whoopdee doo's" for who knows how long. you hit those small hills at about 70 or 80 mph (depending on the car/truck) and you get that roller coaster feeling, but for longer than you're talking about. The key was to hit the hills fast enough it felt like you're jumping the car/truck but not to have the tires lose contact with the pavement. had a few friends that totaled their cars/trucks hitting the hills to fast. 3 hills in a row that you can do just like a roller coaster if you had the guts. Lots bigger adrenaline rush there than an actual roller coaster, driving high speed just on the edge of control was friggin stupid, but hot damn it was fun!1 point

Anyone find out about 8 or 9 yet? lol I am curious. I WANT SPOILERS! I like that it is only based on post count though. I know some forums make you jump through hoops (likes, posts, threads, etc.) to rank up.1 point

Just have to be prepared for the worst at all times as of right now. I will server hop, go on and offline until I find a server that isn't too populated. Sometimes I end up getting put back in the same server a few times. It sucks cause like mentioned, you will be put by people when you spawn in.1 point

Had the same problem and solved it! I went to the small saloon at night, where I found John. However, I was unable to speak to him and start the mission. So I started antagonizing other people at the saloon, which of course resulted in a fight. John Marston, being a loyal friend and gangmember, fled as fast as he could. Next day, he was standing in the sheep farm and I was able to start the mission1 point

Never did figure out what hte big draw to Buell was. he was a big clunky standard horse, i didn't care for him, i'd ride him if there was a chance of horse death, he went out in a good way lol.1 point

I am over the star wars hype. I lose interest after episode 1-3. People need to just let it die already. The first three were the best. The second set was okay, and the latest movies are just not worth the time. Maybe it is just me but I am not a fan. Disney seems to ruin things anymore.1 point

I think you may have hyperactivity issues. Don't you like to breathe between games? Let the adrenaline levels dip just a bit? Don't you like to check out the competition, make value judgements about their sad lives and cutting comments about their sad clothes? I know I do... You want me to saddle up, hunt, pick some seasoning, cook my supper, AND have a free-for-all before bedtime..? Oh! And it's not even bedtime, it's back into another game! You young'uns...1 point
