  1. I have played as female characters in many different games when given the option and the amount of desperation that comes for your nuts is sad. I never got like this with female gamers. Most of them are either in a relationship or full-blown married. Guys that find gals that will game with them are not quick to let them get away. lol

  2. I never liked Westerns as a rule for most of my life. now that I am a little older over the past 3 or 4 years I have really started to appreciate older films and shows and that led me to several Westerns. Here where I live on tv we have several from the 1950's and 60's that air daily. I started watching them and found 3 or 4 I really love. Laramie, Maverick, Cheyenne, Wanted dead or alive, Tales of Wells Fargo, etc.. Dale Robertson as Jim Hardy is one of my favorites, the character is great and has a comedic quality yet a wholesome quality too. Totally by coincidence while checking out older movies from the big 4, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, and Gary Copper, (also Audie Murphy and a handful of character actors like George Kennedy, and a few others that seem to have been in every Western and war movie ever made from 1946 to 1975, once you see them, you seem to see them everywhere.) Anyway, while checking out these older films that are really great, especially Alfred Hitchcock movies, but that led me to some Westerns and then to some of these shows I mentioned. I have come to really love these shows, I use the dvr to record them daily and watch them at night, when you are getting ready to play rdr2 online, watching an episode of Tales of Wells Fargo or Maverick really puts ya in the mood, especially the horses. Does anyone else ever watch the Westerns? Some are really great, especially the movies.

  3. My grandpa was a John Wayne fan, had lots of fun going to stay with them for a weekend or whatever and watching John Wayne films. He'd watch "the others" at times, but neither one of us liked them as much as John Wayne. I didn't start watching Clint Eastwood until i was in middle school. I had to do a report on a book or film and Fistful of Dollars was in the list of movies i could do the report on. Dad recommended it so we watched it, been a fan ever since, in fact that made me look for other movies of his and watch them - First one was FireFox (another one my older brother and Dad wanted to watch, we all went to the theater to see it), then that led me to Any Which Way You Can, i recognized Clint on the VHS cover at the local rental place. Those are still 2 of my favorites

  4. Only on my 2nd play through, can already tell I won't be playing it again for another play through. So i'm picking the options that i didn't pick the first time through.

  5. Never could get into those like i did with John Wayne and such. Then on the flip side, i don't like hardly any of his army movies, Bridge on the River Kwai is one of my all time favorites.

  6. Wow. Division 2 seems like it’s half modding/configuration and half shooting stuff. That makes Red Dead look positively simple. Can I just play Division 2 with a Litchfield repeater with express rounds please?

  9. And i Believe this mode was there from the start of the "beta" otherwise i honestly am scared if this is a result of their hard work the last 4-5 months and listning to the community feedback.... they release crap like this but still cant fix the bugs and glitches wich is just strange. Thought the whole idea of a beta was to fix things before releasing stuff like this

  11. No problem... I have to add.... Now that I think about it, I do have 3 characters I use. One for solo and the other two for when I play with friends which is usually 1-2 times per week. ....so my solo play is probably about 30 hours so far with around the remaining 16 hours as coop. It's kind of cool because when a friend joins, I don't mind replaying some missions they want to do, etc. It's a different experience with a team and you really need to use some basic tactics and cover in this game as the lethality has been increased (both in what you deal and take). You can also stash weapons / gear and use it for your other characters (if they are the appropriate level for those items of course).

  12. I know @BropolloCreed79 was playing the Division 2. I am too in fact. Days Gone is coming up quick but I have a funny feeling about that one. I just don't get a good vibe from the hype, interviews, footage, etc. .....a good vibe for me that is. I don't know..... What do you like that you've played? I'm just waiting for the Spring RDO update which I have a feeling will land in April since that is when their published schedule ended for their weekly release of challenges, etc. ....I'll still be playing other titles at the same time though as I do now.

  13. I wanted to add that if you do this method and go into the store and just buy the packs, discard them as soon as you have 99 in your satchel, keep doing this until you have all 144 unique cards, what will inevitably happen is you will have extra's, multiples, and they sell for $2 each if memory serves, so just head to the fence with them and cash out as soon as you have the collected sets all mailed. This was a nice little payday, along with Algernon Wasps, payment for the final list, and one other thing, I forget, my mail was stuffed with rewards, it was crazy how many $100.00 there were in there plus other things. So dont fear buying cards and remember if you are out scouting and it says you can not pick up another pack of premium cigs, just open satchel, discard all and keep going, you wont lose any cards doing this, as soon as you buy the cigs you get the cards and they are separated and long after you mail all the sets in, you can still collect cards you find in world and ten sell them for cash so, keep your eye out, pick up everything the game lets you, a safe bet is just pick up everything, always.

  14. The hostility system I think it will serve a purpose so you can have all types of play whenever you want without others dictating how you get to enjoy the game. If I am going to join a pvp session or mission of any kind I will obviously be in offensive mode, but whenever I am not joining to fight in a mission, I will be in in defensive this way I can hunt, fish, travel to the butcher, or just explore in peace. In this game, it is a 5 state map, were all neighbors, there are tons of killing opportunities out there so why not be civil in those in between times? You meet a lot of cool people. Otherwise it dulls down the experience to a death match style game like Call of Duty, which I love, but I dont need RDR2O to be like that, those games already exist, and we have game modes to play that way if we want. Here we have a unique opportunity to co-exist in a game, have each others backs, yet engage in fighting, killing, thieving, etc,,, without taking cheap shots against other players in free roam. When I see another player in game, I never think. oh cool, I am gonna blast this poor fool. rather I am thinking, I wonder what they are doing, and how they are playing right now, then I think I hope their friendly, then I run the other way, and that sucks. So for me, I would like to have it both ways, defensive at times, like free roaming, and offensive other times, like being on call for events, or to be an assassins target, letting everyone know, its cool if you want to fight, bring it!!\ But not when I am walking to the butcher or fishing.

  15. This is the currently obese Wendel Hunt and his trusty steed Chestnutz. He tends to indulge a little too much in the Minty Big Game hence the expanded mid rift. He is madly in love with Zampen's character but is tragically heartbroken as we are cross platform😍😭

  18. i looked at this game when it came out and was such a rage, and i was like umm okay, 🙄 boring, Not my kind of game either, but yeah can see why people would like it and the battle royal would be fun for those that enjoy this.

I can watch The Cowboys over and over, just did 2 weekends ago actually This weekend i plan on watching the spaghetti western trilogy with my son, he's getting into the westerns also - Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, Bad, and Ugly

  20. I decided to create a female character for the online but I am a 40-year-old straight male. very often I get friend requests or chat invitations from players I casually meet just because they think I'm a woman. I usually ignore and go ahead. but sometimes I agree to chat and in the deepest voice I can, i talk to them "hey man , how are you?" LOL

  21. Lol i do that all the time. someone pisses you off you ride up beside them and kick them in the head. I keep trying to run down a deer or pronghorn and see if i can kick one over and hop off the horse and kill it like a wounded one or lasso'd one.

  23. you have to tap X repeatedly, like when you're lifting Lenny up onto the train in chapter 1, you hit the A button (xbox one) over and over. the tool tips they put on the screen are accurate, you press the left stick up to raise it and mash the X button to bring the candle to the wound. Fairly easy to tell as when you press it once a sliver of the ring around the button they're showing will turn white.

  24. Lvl 81, going on 82 Playing 2-4 hrs daily at launch, grinding on weekends but kind of really slowing down now* I switch back between caring for XP and not. most days I just like to hunt and fish, if I'm close to a map or something I push harder. What is my end goal. IDK. grinding for a couple more tier 3 passives, maybe some more pamphlets (incendiary buckshot and explosive slugs @84 seems exciting) but everything new I buy is kinda of a let down. All the good stuff is around 90 to 100. *This game been in beta so long and I honestly question how much new content they can add. Just so much hunting you can do and how many times I going to deliver a wagon for $10 or less. Mail delivery is lame, I prefer to be shot at this point because it crashes half the time… ... last night was griefer night. Big high level posse cut me to shreds for about ½ hr, did okay in a couple showdown, then Won a free room. Then every low level guys took potshots at me for an hour and they all parlayed away and “reported me to R* for kicking their griefing butts. I don't know, moral of this paragraph is it was a nice change of pace and I'd rather be cut to shreds (and learn from my mistakes) then have to deal with the child like behavior I see in this game…stealing pelts, shooting in the back, cheating. In a way all these MMO and MMORPG are the same now. Needs lots of content update and I'm OCD with persistent bugs that drive me nuts. Honestly it's a love/hate relationship with this game. Something better comes along (marvel for PS4 and switch I'm waiting for) I might bail. They need to do/add something to keep me interested.

  26. I'm currently level 31, on my second character since my first one was ugly. She was level 11 when I deleted her. I started this one around November 30th, and I play a few times a week for 3 hours or so each time. I was gunning for level 23 to get the Hungarian Halfbred, but due to my Ultimate Edition horses I needed to save up $630 to afford it and a new stall. I finally just got it last night before I logged off at level 31 hahaha. I have about 40 gold bars currently. I prefer hunting, doing jewelry runs, and picking herbs. Once in awhile I will pick up a stranger mission if nobody appears close by. I clear hideouts as I notice them. Sometimes I do PvP if a daily requires it.

  27. I enjoy a wide range of music from oldies to pop to rock and roll to hard rock, etc... My favorite bands were Van Halen before 1984, Led Zep, Ozzy, Sabbath, but I also grew up with oldies Elvis and Sadaka, the O'jays, I am a drummer and I also play guitar, write music and lyrics and I have a couple of bands. My current band Pyramis is a hard rock all original band that plays all over the US, I have written al the words and music to about 35 songs. We play around 20 of those at performances. I no longer listen to the radio or music unless I am somewhere that it is on and I have no control, I love music, I just never listen to it, I have it on in my head all the time and I find radios distracting, I have a lifetime to Sirius and use it for comedy and Stern. I dont listen as I dont want to copy what others have done, and when I am writing it helps to not know what is out, if that makes any sense.

  29. Well, I dont know if it is a trick, But here is what I do. arm the fishing pole, look for the bubbles from the fish, use eagle eye to see what im dealing with, ie: bass, trout, or smaller fishes. Once I see what im fishing for I cast out to the fish and try to put my bait/lure right in their path, and move it around a litle, often I tip my pole toward the water, slacking up the line, and while the tip is lowered I flick the R trigger to snap the line, (Might be a different button on ps4) Here is the part that matters, Once the fish has struck, I set the hook and DO NOT REEL. Just let the initial fighting happen and as soon as the fish settles down, start reeling while snapping the left thumb stick from up to down, repeatedly, this will pull the fish in closer to you, after you do this a few times you get a rhythm. Once the fish begins fighting while you are reeling/pulling, STOP REELING. Do not try to reel in a fighting fish unless it is one of the smaller fish, ie: rock bass, blue gil, red fin pickerel, chain pickerel, bull head, etc.. Any mid or large sized fish has the ability to snap your line and take your lure if you reel while they are fighting, so it is very important to stop reeling when the fish begins to fight. Repeat until you land the fish. When fishing with bait and catching those smaller species I mentioned, you do not have to observe this, just set hook, and reel in until you have them, it is very fast, these fish only pay around 1$ each but they land very very quickly, so if you are in an area with a lot of bass or steelheads but mixed in are the smaller fish too, after you get your 10 of large mouth, small mouth, steelhead, or sockeye, then put on bread bait and go ahead and clean out all those smaller fish too, it only takes a few minutes and 10 add up to 10 to 15$ depending on species. So you can actually go to butcher with not only your bass and trout, but all those others I mentioned too and if you do it each time, that extra 30$ adds up, IMO. As long as you are patient when reeling you wont ever lose a lure. I did lose 3 or 4 early on learning this so.... take my advice, never reel in a fighting fish. Oh and the larger ones, like Northern pike, Lake Sturgeon, long nose gar, etc.. same deal but they take a lot longer so just be patient, and use your left thumbstick more than anything when reeling in larger fish. Doing this I have landed thousands of fish, or at least it seems like thousands. Also, side note, last night I took a cart from an npc, rode it to the Dakota River and caught and landed 6 northern pike and brought them all the the butcher!! That was amazing, sadly it only worked once, as the second time I tried I only found 2 and the third time I tried I only found 1, but it did work, I took the cart all the way to Shady Belle from Valentine and figured I would load it up with gator pelts, and long nose Gar. Before I could get there, I stopped at Flat Iron Lake, and caught 4 Lake Sturgeon, and was able to deliver those to the Rhodes butcher, so you can use a cart and load up more than one of the larger items you cant normally carry, like gator pelts, big fish, etc.. Trick is to park the cart on a hill or next to a rock or something that you can easily walk into the back to "drop" your load each time and not to walk too far away from the cart, if you do, it will disappear on you. Anyway that is my advice for fishing. Good luck, and remember you can catch any fish without a lure it just takes longer because every other fish will also be biting but you can not catch small fish with a lure.

  30. 49. Finished story mode new years day. Then started online. Generally play when I'm in hotels on business, weekends at home with brother and nephews. If I'm solo, I log Rio bravo and stay in camp shooting 100 or so birds. Use split ammunition which I then replace 50 a time with regular ammo which craft into split again. It ticks all the boxes crafting achievement, birds killed in flight, animal parts sold. Gather herbs an hunt while waiting for birds to fly over. Do the hideouts. Couple of mission then sell at tumbleweed. Then spawn in Grizzlies for sock eye salmon, herbs and hunting. Hideouts. Then spawn lemoyne for gators , herons etc and area herbs. St Dennis to butcher and doctor to sell herbs. Reset all achievements immediately. Couple of pvp team matches, then bed! 3 grand in bank level 2 never without one card. 2 horses with insurance. 40 odd gold, some tent upgrades. All the guns I ca have at lvl 49.

  31. 1) Level 108 2) Been playing since the first week of launch. 3) I mostly hunt and clear enemy hideouts. I will grind in pvp from time to time, but I keep that limited because pvp causes me to cuss like a sailor. Luckily nobody can hear me since I play in party chat. Just hope my neighbors don't hear me.😊 since the daily challenges started showing up, I've tried to do as many of those as I can each day. I also make sure that when I achieve a gold buckle on an award, I make sure to reset it if possible. 4) now that I'm past level 100, I've unlocked everything. Now it's all about grinding for money to buy everything I've unlocked. I currently have 8 tier 3 ability cards, all of the tent upgrades and fast travel for my camp. I only have a few more pamphlets to buy. My current weapon cache is 2 schofields, 2 sawed offs, a cattleman and a highroller revolver for my sidearms. For longarms, I have a carbine and Lancaster for repeaters, bolt action and Springfield for rifles, Rolling Block and Carcano for sniper rifles and a pump action shotgun and of course my bow. I have small games arrows, poison arrows, fire arrows, dynamite arrows, poison throwing knives, fire bottles, volatile dynamite, explosive slugs and explosive express ammo.

  32. I took a ride up to the ledge at the end of the Chapter 6 events. I didn't hear any voices there. The background music took on a darker tone, but I don't know whether that's connected at all. The darker musical tones followed me as I took Dutch's route down from the mountain, but I don't think there's anything to discover down there.

  35. Cool username bud. Not completely sure. Yet, just looked this up think it might be "A Fisher of Fish" side-quest. Talk to a non playable character at the end of a dock around north-east shoreline of Flat Iron Lake. The character's name is "Jeremy Gill". He'll want you to catch legendary fish. There are thirteen of legendary fish to collect. Edit: or it could be "gang hideouts"

  36. Sounds like she's on Sharpshooter 7 challenge - Get 7 headshots in a row. If i recall correctly you can tap left on the D-pad and then hit R1/RB to look at your active challenges. It should show your consecutive headshot count there. Headshots are fairly easy to get. You can ride around like i did and shoot the lone people riding horses. Aim at them, tap up on the stick and shoot. Another easy spot i found after doing the riding around when i had to redo this from using a previous save is the shack on the east side of the oil refinery. You can use dead eye on the 3 people outside of the shack (it's on stilts, has a generator looking machine inside it) then use the doorway for cover and headshot the guards and lawmen as they rush over to kill you. And if you miss and screw up the headshot count there's plenty of guys there to restart it.

  37. There are no trophies in RDR2 that relate to headshots. In the story mode of the game, there's no pop-up count of headshots. There might be in Online, but not in the story. You do, however, get a count of headshots per weapon in the weapons part of the compendium, so you can add those up. In Red Dead Redemption 1, there was Bullseye - Get 250 headshots in any game mode.

  38. Every 10 headshots, it will tell you how many you have done if I am not mistaken. Just tell her to count them until she hits 10 and see if a pop-up appears.
