Maggie's missions are among my favourites in the game, though, at least. The one on the boat was epic, loved it and will have replay value. Agree on the returns, but I think (as with any business!) it pays much better as we gain in experience and equipment. I had my first $90 delivery just now and I'm only lvl 6. Once they hit $200 it'll pay as well as trader as things happen more quickly with moonshining. SO I get what you're saying, but I think we stick with it. It's a fun process, getting it right, and I accepted an invitation to another player's bar yesterday. We had a dance off. Was fun.2 points

Hunter one creeps me out... I like Flowers , refined, standard then hunter. I'm sure in days of prohibition there were all manners of classy establishments underground... Capone never drank in dive bars I imagine. Not enough chimneys or parking for 30+ people... Should be another exit also.. but whatever.. its fun... You can play with band to time out less (more than 30 minutes) ... 4 drinks of the good whiskey at bar (not barrels) will give you "self drunks" towards achievement/award. Both good if you need to kill 5 minutes or so. The bar is useless and makes no money atm so its useless to try to get more patrons. Flowers is the one I use most but change it for dailies.2 points

I watched this movie so much growing up, I can say everything word of it without fail. A few years ago, my brother bet me I couldn't do it for 5 minutes let alone the whole movie. Put the thing on mute, put subtitles on and I had my back at the TV. Quickest $100 I ever earned.1 point

I’ll keep this conversation going with a rant (because I have no animals to hunt) Don’t think that animal spawns is a “troubleshooting” issue but best can be called a Nerf**.…. **Hopefully, R* is not incompetent to have a bug going on for this long. Their first mistake was releasing new content on a weekend during Christmas time. From a project management perspective it's a big no-no. R* seems great with visual and GUI, but their server and database programming leaves something to be desired. I'm like "John Snow" and know nothing but I sometimes wonder (and believe) that R* and allot of these gaming companies like to run multivariate tests and stuff like that. My thought is that they want to see what players do when there are no animals. Kill each other? Kill NPC’s? It’s an option but it’s played. I could also just play GTO if I wanted to do that. Play PVP? The answer for me is no because I played it for the first 6 months and it was enjoyable. Now It's repetitive game modes, everybody got maxed out Passives and use the darn explosive stuff. Nevermind the dumb tobacco, potions, booze and big game meat. PVP needs a complete revamp and some new concepts. Moonshine? I don't know, except for the missions IMO it's another wagon delivery game, and low ROI in my view. Put me in a rickety old wagon, on a server with posses floating around and then send me into a group of Terminators. It's amazing that I've been successful ...when it doesn't crash! I own an expensive bar that's cosmetic only too Collector? Beyond boring but profitable. Bounty Hunt? I enjoyed the bounties at first but now they are becoming repetitive and frustrating . At least for me, They took away the private lobbies with tons of animal spawns and now they like to put bounties in locations with one-way route, in a cave, on a snowy mountain or on a train where you can't jump to it or pass it. Stuff like that... And then just spawn enemies like there is no tomorrow for $15 to $50. I’ve even had some bounties jump off a cliff to their death. My horse always seems to suddenly get ill, the bola cost is ridiculous, they just started registering for the challenge and sometimes I can’t hogtie them.I love a good challenge but Bounty Hunting needs to fun and not frustrating (same thing I sent to R*) They want suggestions… Let me pay to upgrade the dumpy wagon, or let me buy that small wagon you can steal from the NPCs and it handles like a sports car. Add more interactive events, legendary or 3* bounties without all the BS. Revamp PVP. I don't know sniper shooting for points, quick draw showdown. They want to make money on this Freemium model I'd bet private lobbies would sell. I got 170+ day streak going. I lose it I don't see myself doing another 170. IMO Animal spawns needs to be resolved soon. I hope anyone who is not happy with this no animal Sh*t will let their voices be heard… https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadonline/feedback sorry for the rant.1 point

Bitter means to the bitter end Certainty if death and taxes Where there's smoke there's firewater Come hell come high water Blood is thicker than shine. Can't remember the proper order though. I can say that after you complete them, the bottom one will say "replay story missions". So is it possible you have failed the last one you tried? Or is this more a glitch? Or are you trying to do them too close together? There is a cool down period between story missions. Edit: saw where you said you died a lot more than twice. So chances are you just didn't "complete" the mission. (bring some tonics with you, the NPCs in story hit hard)1 point

So far all I’ve tried is the Hunter... I like it. Kind of like a tacky dive bar on the outskirts of some middle of nowhere hick town (my kind of bar). I’d try more, but between the moonshine overhead and new guns to play with, I’m running low on funds...1 point

While not as active as any subreddit, this place is definitely alive. It is well moderated so most of the time you get quality over quantity. Most active users try to lend tips and share information. You've been here for less than 24 hours by the looks of it. Stick around and contribute to conversations. Good things come in time. If fast paced is more your thing, with poor moderation (the same low effort content every 2 hours) and more unmemorable usernames than memorable ones, check out the subforums on reddit, where posts you actually like will get pushed into the netherrealm in 25 minutes.1 point

What platform are you on? I have no issue scrolling through the tickets on PS4 via the Benefits page. I had loads of them before I even realised you had to redeem some of them (gold & $ was just gifted to your account with the 1st Outlaw pass), and I'm already level 100 so have unlocked them all. I was surprised that this new mechanic didn't give the option to redeem certain vouchers like fast travel when you want - that was a bugbear I had from the 1st Outlaw pass - I want to choose when to use free travel not just use a ticket every time for as long as I have the vouchers. And I'd have chosen not to use the free mash supply token at all given that it seems to **** up the whole moonshine operation. I don't have a problem with the nature of any of the offers though - sure the ability card ones are no value to me and some of the clothing ones I'll never redeem but they were all gifted through just playing the game and different people will place different value on the rewards.1 point

MOONSHINE DELIVERY GLITCH SOLVED! MOONSHINE DELIVERY GLITCH SOLVED! MOONSHINE DELIVERY GLITCH SOLVED! Trying to get attention to this posting because it could save a lot of aggravation to some... I am a level 20 in moonshine role and believe the faulty deliveries were to locations based on customer/flavor. I AM NOT POSITIVE... Working THEORY! For example all the $226 deliveries work fine but a few of the $247 flavors/customers.. just will not work... but im not positive. If you notice this and are convinced it is accurate.. then maybe make it its own thread because its an important "fix" or method to bypass glitch.. if we can just skip a few higher end deliveries. Never re-flavor.. sell it cheaper. I THINK that helps bug out marcel. Stay in bar and drink 4 drinks of high end whiskey.. 1 drink past where it misspells.(not weak whiskey from barrels as it doesn't count to achievement/award/buckle). You need 100 self drunks... and even 5 and 25 achieves give some experience i think.. unsure. Then make sure marcel has started before doing something else.. like maggie (man is not made of wood)... and now you have an image of maggie in your head.. sorry. So... If you want to run moonshine glitch free... These tips MAY hep.. I'm pretty sure ??!?! I'm running high profit glitch free by watching netflix and going back for deliveries... it doesnt time out if you play in the band. I'm paying the higehr price for mash but enjoy the roadblock missions.. lots of loot... and ends at fast travel... and these cabins are remote... ugg... better to do a maggie mission and end closer to a travel post. So... GLITCH SOLVED... P.s. and if your not driving ALL your bootlegging missions on CINEMATIC MODE... your missing out. ALLWAYS DRIVE THROUGH ROADBLOCKS... half the time they let you just drive by... but if you hear enemies voices.. you have time to stop and face them... If they let you drive by.. they will never give chase. Please someone make FLAVOR/CUSTOMER Glitch remedy a thread if it proves true... It deserves a special place in our bootlegging knowledge (until glitches gone). Edit: Evergreen $226 delivery has bugged on me (perhaps customer changed?),.. but not the berry flavor yet... Deliveries seem to go to a few same places... and Im happy with that... at first I wanted a zillion recipes and flavors. but now I just want my $200/hr. I only do maggie missions to get to town or back to camp when leaving bar.1 point

Try all delivery's in FAST TRAVEL/VIEW MODE. If moonshining NEVER STOP at barricades... just ignore requests to stop and perhaps take 2-3 harmless nullets.. If they do not shoot.. they will not chase and they wave you through 1/3 the time... "Move along"... "yes sir"... But this is not about moonshing... I always use view mode with wagons.. here is why? If youre driving a wagon full of pelts through griefer country often enough.. youre going to lose cargo. It can be hard to defend against griefers when youre on a wagon. One technique is to dynamite your wagon and at least grab one bag (up to 25 pieces) and throw it on your horse. If you want another bag place it on the horse from the wagon (Use care with how you destroy wagon then as dynamite sometimes scares away horse... (bridge crash works). It all depends on how much cargo and how many your opponents.. Usually you may just want to grab the pone bag and go. The other day I was in view/travel mode and got one shotted.. as they can always do... So I came back and blew him and my wagon up and put my stuff on horseback for remainder of journey. So I get distracted by animals and every blue or red dot I see... and I end up driving worse.. taking shortcuts... crashing... driving at night,... ugg. with no light.. more ugg... In view mode you just hold a button on your controller or keyboard and go make a coffee.... If youre gonna get attacked.. youre gonna get attacked... I find explosive repeater ammo is a fine deterrent against posses. They have explosive ammo also... I find it best to back off then charge them full speed with fire shooting from your shotgun. Keep your dot stationary from their viewpoint by coming straight at them .. and when they see you on the minimap.. Its too late... They are on fire. If someone is following you or obviously a griefer and you just want to go on your way without too much fuss... Use poison arrow on their horse.. Then they must take the time to use a revive or remedy on their horse. By which time youll be gone. So at least TRY view mode... It makes me relax in game more as Im not so concerned with every blip on the screen.. but if you are concerned.. you can also watch the MAP while in travel/view mode... In old RDR2 you could see everyone's dot on the map and your route... now.. not so much. I find that driving in view mode also makes my character seem fearless and confident... when its actually ignorance. So maybe people think twice.. plus they see you in a wagon so they can choose to be nice or not. View mode or no view mode will not alter that decision. Plus with moonshining I always deliver 20/20 bottles now... Its easy if you let wagon autodrive and ignore roadblock... or get out of wagon for it... I just drove through every roadblock.... every one... always.... easier to ignore them... and no damage... Hope this tip makes your rdr2 life easier.1 point

Celebrating our 11 year anniversary!!! I can only say that with great confidence because I know the challenges we've overcome and I know how committed our members are to carrying on our traditions. As a club we have many goals and plans for the future that wouldn't be appropriate to share here, but have no doubt we are stronger than ever and focused on a bright future.1 point

We're looking for good human beings. Qualities like honesty, maturity, compassion, and integrity are important to us. It's hard to quantify the precise mix of qualities or adequately describe how we go about evaluating prospective members, but we take it very seriously. We've had thousands of people apply to the club, but only about 1% earn full membership. One of our biggest challenges in recruiting is that most don't understand that all the high ideals we talk about inside the club, are only accessible to members. We expect members to treat each other with the utmost respect at all times. We laugh and clown around endlessly behind closed doors. We are kind and compassionate and value the dignity of others.....however, we are downright degrading to prospective members. We have a complex and grueling prospecting process that allows us to carefully scrutinize individuals prior to allowing them into the club. It's very hard for outsiders to understand the process and not take it personally. We put prospective members in stressful and unreasonable situations to see how they respond. We're watching to see if they work together to solve problems, if they carry on with their duties even when times get tough, and if they can show the utmost respect when dealing with someone acting in an irrational or hostile way....because when you become a member you will be faced with all these challenges. If people quit when times get tough, put themselves before the club in their decision making, or continually escalate when conflicts arise, we would not be able to maintain the beautiful environment the club provides and which has allowed us to go on successfully for as long as we have. We expect members to stay for years, but we only have weeks or months to evaluate someone's character before voting them into the club. For that reason we condense the stresses to suit the time frame and the very large majority of candidates do not hold up. Which is exactly the way we like it. Once membership is earned, there is a tremendous sense of accomplishment and feeling of belonging. Every member can trust and rely on every other member because they know what that person had to do to earn membership. The charitable work we do is really just a natural extension of our values. As much as we like acting like badasses on the video games, our members are great people from all walks of life. As we have gained some minor recognition within the gaming community it just seemed natural to try to do some good with it. Benefits to the club are immeasurable. It provides an incredible sense of pride within the membership. Gaming is viewed by some as a waste of time or a self-indulgent activity. By using the time we've invested to help people facing challenges in the real world helps give membership in the club a little more meaning and significance. We will absolutely do more of this in the future.1 point

There's a lot of commonality between RDO & GTA for us. The primary difference, beyond the obvious environmental difference, is related to combat. In GTA we were a strict freeaim only club with a limited weapon wheel based on GTA 1% MC rules. Where Red Dead is an autoaim game with all kinds of potions and ability cards, early on we made the decision not to limit use of in-game content. Our members are free to use any weapons or other features the game has to offer. On GTA we took pride in limiting our weapon wheel and strictly adhering to voluntary standards. In Red Dead we just have fun and the combat aspects of the game have far less significance than on GTA. Reaper Lords are Reaper Lords no matter what game or console we're on. Membership applies to the individual, not the account or platform.1 point

I like the concept of the camp and what it offers but it is such a pain in the arse to actually get functioning. I have had issues with it on both console and now PC. Most of the time, I just don't even bother with it anymore. I want a house, farm, or hotel... Something that will stay in one place and not get all willy nilly every other time I play.1 point
-
Yeah, I've been having a few issues with it too since my previous post. Sometimes it works fine, but sometimes when launching with the "camp" option, it starts me at the spot my camp used to be, but the camp itself has moved to a different location. And just now I teleport to camp after a Trade Route, and only half the camp is there (the fast travel post, the campfire and a few random bits and pieces) while the camp icon is some place halfway across the map, and when I get there, there's nothing there. So yeah, they're not there yet. With this, and constant glitches with pretty much everything I try to do, I think it's time to drastically reduce my playing hours for a while.1 point

I noticed it last night!. Update: I must have done something wrong when pausing the Steam download at 30GB last night. It is starting over from 0GB. For some reason, my gaming labtop has always had slow download speed, even on fast networks. Current average is 4.2MB/s. Now when tested during this Steam download, the network is recording a 79 ms ping, 12.90 Mbps Download, 29.61 Mbps Upload. It has alway's been like this since I've owned this computer. Doesn't ever effect my online gaming though. Please be patient with me. Soon as I get it installed and can test the game, I will let everyone know how it runs on the second try.1 point

I like the fishing challenges. They're the only Free Roam events where I have a half-decent chance at winning. Today there was one up north at Brandywine. As the event gets underway, I hear screams in the distance. Male and female. I think maybe some idiot is messing with people somehow and briefly roll my eyes at kids these days, but focus on the fishing. Halfway into the event, I landed two 18 pounders and am narrowly in the lead, but my spot isn't great, so I decide to move up the river a little. Turns out the one messing with people wasn't some idiot kid, but a panther. And since combat is disabled during the fishing events, i spent the second half of the contest getting mauled over and over again by an angry cat, taking no damage, but also unable to fight back. At one point I managed to start fishing again, hoping it would leave me alone once I was in the fishing animation, and I even hooked another fish, but nope, the panther got me again before I could land it. I finished 2nd. PS. And just as I finished typing this, my cat threw up on the bed. Not a good cat day today...1 point

Anyone else been using the Posse Up option, or leading their own public posses? I've been using it more and more and I'm really starting to like it, been building up a bit of loose a friends network like I have in GTAO and even started up a Persistent Posse to try and keep better track of some of the people I've met. Kind of annoyed with how limited PP's functionality is though. When I first heard about it I assumed it was going to be RDO's equivalent of GTAO's crews but as it stands now you're basically paying $200 bucks for a customized name, increased posse size and extremely truncated secondary friends list... And now that I think about it, when/if we get Free Aim sessions I'll probably need to start at square one with all this anyway; I assume most of the people I've met would stick with AA :(1 point

I'm not concerned with how they operate their departments within the company. I'm the end user, all I care about is that the product I paid for works properly. If you buy a new Honda car, and it runs great but the seats suck, you don't say "Honda's drivetrain department did great but their interior division needs help". No.... You say "Honda needs to fix these seats" Well, "rockstar" needs to fix their glitches.1 point

We produce about 200 million metric tons of pumpkins in my state. We carve 36 of those pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns and hide the rest of them in everything we eat. We don't have a solid bowel movement until February but our farts smell like the candle department at Bed Bath & Beyond.1 point
