  1. Articles take time to prepare. I'm just copying and pasting. .......snip, stick and done. The Newsbot articles are usually written & posted within a few hours so that's pretty quick IMO.
  2. I don't know much about it but I do know that if you have Amazon Prime, you get Twitch Prime for free. If not, yeah, there is a fee AFAIK. .....but there is also a free trial so maybe that can be used to get the bonus.

As part of this week’s celebratory festivities, merchants are pleased to offer free Gun Oil to ensure all your instruments of peacemaking are in tip-top shape. A weapon’s looks and performance degrade over time from use and exposure to the elements, but a little Gun Oil will make them good as new. Gunslingers and vigilante types alike would also be wise to take advantage of 30% off all weapons components, including Improved Rifling to increase velocity and range, Iron Sights and Scopes for better accuracy, Stocks with various wood grains and Wraps to preserve your weapon from use and weather. And if you’re in the market for a reliable firearm, you can get the Evans Repeater for 25% off this week. This week, those brave enough to traverse the five states in search of opportunity shall be rewarded handsomely with 30% more RDO$ and XP for all Free Roam Missions. Keep yourself on the straight and narrow pursuing Gunslinger missions with respectable folks like Bonnie MacFarlane or get yourself mixed up in shadier business with Outlaw missions from Black Belle and much more. The Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue has a new limited supply item, the warm and woolly Pelt Half Chaps, as well as remaining stock of the Griffith Chaps. Elsewhere in the catalogue's clothing section, the sturdy Cromwell Hat and the svelte Cabrera Pants are both refined statement pieces that are sure to elevate your wardrobe. Put your best foot forward with strangers or make peace with even your most bitter rivals using the Respectful Bow emote, free from the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue for this week only.
  4. I understand. The article included quotes "" from Nelson (R*) but I just wanted to clarify that those quotes in your post weren't from him. They were from GI. .....their extrapolations based on the info R* provided.
  5. .....but it should be noted that those quotes are from GI, not R*. We still have to see how it plays out.

  7. Wagons would be great to transport goods and for other tasks of course. I'd also like to see properties become available for purchase. .....similar to GTAO where we can make them spawn points, have a gun locker to put those unused weapons, etc. Camps are ok for out in the field near where you might be doing your thing but I would still like to have a place that we can call home to upgrade, possiblly run business(es) from, store equipment/wagons/horses, etc. I also like being able to spawn into the world in a secure spot sometimes. I know that may sound redundant considering we already have the camp, post office, stable and such but I dunno, I still want them and I think they can offer unique opportunities.
  8. Here's what PC Gamer had to say about it today: https://www.pcgamer.com/this-gta-6-leak-is-detailed-but-almost-certainly-fake/ You never know though. That's just PCG's opinion on the leak and I don't always agree with their take on things to be honest.
  9. Here's the link to the article for those who want to read it. Assuming this was the one you meant?: https://www.gameinformer.com/2019/05/14/rockstar-outlines-the-future-of-red-dead-online They delve in a little deeper than the official announcement R* made at the time. Personally, I like their take on RDO and the direction they're going with it. I'm also looking forward to the new roles coming this Summer and the related businesses, tasks, equipment, etc. Can't wait to see what's in store.
  10. Hi Lex and welcome to the forums. Please note that RDR2.org is a fansite and not affiliated with R* or 2K. If you're interested in providing suggestions/critiques directly to R* I would suggest visiting their Feedback website here: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadonline/feedback?redirect_lang=en_us Of course, we would love you to also share your experiences with us, seek help and assist others here as well. RDR2.org is a great resource and community. ....but you're going to have to use that website if you want to send feedback or ask for direct assistance from R* as they don't have an official forum. Hope that helps. Thanks, Kean
  11. Could also mean after you play certain side missions that automatically put you in offensive mode.
  12. Thanks for posting this. It was in the latest update thread but it's certainly worthy of it own. I know there have been a lot of fellow community members who have been looking forward to some news on this. Now we just have to wait and see how much it will cost if anything. I also like the fact that the defensive/offensive option will stick. I hate having to keep turning defensive on.
  13. Can't believe I glazed over this bit in the original article: I know several of our community members have expressed an interest in an option like this. I'm sure they will be happy to see this.
  14. I heard that it seemed to have been modified to only be effective when someone shoots at your head and hits your hat. ....meaning your hat will provide protection but not if you get shot in the face, etc.
  15. I think it's obvious nothing good will come of this thread at this point so I'm closing it.
  16. Yeah, it's the LCD monitor that would kill it for me personally on the Asteroids and Lunar Lander type games. The bright glow from the old vector monitors was really cool. .....basically like an oscilloscope. At least they had the machine on when you saw it. Should give you a good idea if you'll like it. You can also at least play with the controllers and buttons to see how they feel even if you can't play any games on it. They say they build those components themselves. .....probably just means they source them from a factory in China but I have no idea. Still a cool thing to have for a game room when folks are over, etc.
  17. Thought this was pretty cool (and still is) but I don't think I'd buy one unless I had the chance to see it in the flesh first to see how the controls actually feel, etc. Seems they're also 3/4 scale. I'd love an Asteroids cabinet (with Lunar Lander) but I'd rather have it with an old vector monitor than an LCD personally.
  18. fyi.... I had to delete several posts today. I'd like to remind people that general discussions & debates regarding topics are to be kept in the appropriate forums. This is a recruitment thread. A place for inquiries, etc. regarding the posse, not a place to continue a debate, hash out rivalries or to criticise the OP about their group. Likewise, posse / recruitment discussions should also remain here, in the Posse Recruitment sub-forum. The discussion of this posse should be kept in this thread to help eliminate the possibility of negative traffic following back. In either case, this should be the only place people should be gauging interest, recruiting, advertising, etc. for their posse. Another posse was mentioned earlier and there was a misunderstanding. It was acknowledged and I told folks to leave it at that. That should be clear now if it wasn't before. If there is a problem with a particular post, etc., then please report it or PM one of us. .....or feel free to PM me if you have questions about anything I have discussed here and I'll be more than happy to help. Thank You, Kean
  19. No worries. Yeah, the only confirmed news is in that article. We still have no idea when the next update hits either. .....except sometime this Summer.
  20. Hi Rod and welcome to the forums. I like the idea but who knows if it will come to fruition. I know in GTAO you can share ammo by dropping it for other players.

  22. Hi Othien and welcome to the forums. btw, the post you replied to is 7 months old and created just about 3 weeks after the game's release. ....so not everyone knew exactly how the mechanics, etc. worked in the game at that point.
  23. Hi MrPicard and welcome to the forums.
