How old do you guys think Arthur is

I would say he is about 45. He has aging to him clearly but not quite old enough to be 50. He could also be in his late 30's and just be aged more from being outside, stress, ect coming with that lifestyle.

Why are you wondering what his age is, if I may ask? To me he looks about 35 but I am sure something on his age will come up at some point. Not sure why it would matter though...

Really, I don't know. He is aged but he isn't old. It will be interesting to see how his age is compared to John's. He was 38 when RDR starts out.

Actually... He looks like the kind of dad a mate would have who is always peeping weird looks at his son's girlfriend. He grunts and spits all the time. Drives an old beat up truck he's been fixing for 20 years and insists that all the colored folk need to move back to Africa.

I think you're right, he mentions that in one of the missions with Lenny if memory serves.  and he was in his teens when Dutch saved him.  So he'd be 30 something.

.....nor is being 50 for that matter. While I may not be a badass (sadly, old injuries have aged my body beyond my years) , I know plenty of 50+ dudes few would consider messing with.  

Arthur reminds me of a bit younger Longmire.

He keeps being referred to as old by the younger characters, and keeps moaning about his age all the time himself.  But he hasn't got grey hair, which seems anomalous.

I believe offically he's sooposed to be 36, but I would have pegged him at 42 (though oddly without any grey hair).

He's around 50-year-olds.

In one of the missions when you are riding somewhere with dutch and another gang member (can't remember who), Dutch refers to something Arthur did when he was 20 years old - around 15 years ago. So he is mid-30's. 

Can't recall the exact dialogue but its definitely something I picked up. I'm on my second play through now so will listen out for it again.
