Exactly why I have a "go-to" list of 5-10 places I know Mrs. Creed won't say "no" to. It covers an array of cultural culinary options, and it's never failed. Pro tip: always have your S.O.'s favorite desert option on the list. I know that for Mrs. Creed, every so often, I'll be going to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard instead of an actual meal. Which is fine with me because I pass the best tacos in town on the way back.3 points

PVE players and passive players can easily accumulate resources, but they take more time to do so. For R*, we are useless and unprofitable players consuming server resources. Usually these players will not spend real money on the game, as they don't have a competitive profile and they tend to have more patience to accumulate resources. PVPs needs to improve fast, so they tend to spend real money to accelerate the proccess and increase their chances against others PVP players (who improves fast too). Of Course, R* likes that! Players who consume long time server resources and do not pay real money are a R * nightmare. R * will do anything possible to get these people away from the game. And the Griefers are R*' s great friends to achieve this. R* creates perfect scenarios to let griefers make PVE gameplay like an inferno! Unfortunately, I'm a passive player. I clearly feel that my gameplay style is not well seen by R * and it tries hard to create situations to keep me away from the game. Commercially speaking, I have already paid the license of the game. From now on, every minute online means only losses for R *. And R* is reaching its objective!2 points

Hey! I definitely felt ashamed when my buddy caught me scrolling through facebook yesterday! I know better than that...2 points

Well, I didn't say it was a model that didn't favor PvP. ....but R* is clearly trying to sell the PvE aspect of it as well to players and if they can add some balance, I don't see why RDO couldn't be more enjoyable for coop / PvEers like myself.2 points

Take Two immediately counter-sued for the right to include the two characters in the game. Being a Swede has nothing to do with it IMO. Pinkerton doesn't represent you or your fellow citizens, right? ....it's just a company regardless of who they're owned by.2 points

There is very little between the 2 of them They are both multi grade horses, the Turkoman is war/race and excellent in gunfights noise doesnt bother it a deal its Heart core is a full circle giving it great defense against damage speed wise pretty quick but not as fast as the Fox trotter but there isnt much speed difference its also pretty good around predator animals standing its ground well. Fox trotter is a Work/race horse si is extremely good around predator animals mine has actually killed a grizzly and a wolf stamina is excellent but hear cores not as good as the Turkoman So basiaclly either are good all rounders with small benefits either way I use Turkoman for mission etc where gunfights are the norm and use the Trotter for hunting and travelling great distances at speed End of the day its what you like and want out of the game but as dollars are easy enough to earn why not buy both2 points

Well their actions are .. at the moment are just "Killing Players'. And Killing players is not something that only griefers do. So anything that effects killing other players always needs to be looked at from all angles. Not just from the lense of Griefers. Lets say for example they make it so killing players gives a penalty.. So now players defending themselves get punished? Friends who fight each other for fun get punished? And... lets say they added a Passive option. Well, now griefers are tossing TNT at the fish where you're fishing OR shooting Perfect Animals (to downgrade to Poor) right after you kill an animal. And now, you can't shoot them. So you have to leave the game anyways... The cycle really ends. I like griefers.. I don't LIKE LIKE them. But without them, id have no one to fight. I need them..2 points

Just a heads up. Just recently I've started coming across more and more higher level players that are toting around explosive ammo. This ammo can 1 shot you and your horse frem nearly any range and hit any part of your body to do it. I recently purchased the pamphlet required to make this in case they try this on me but unless your level 91-92 you wont be able to buy it(also costs $1000...yeah). They can only carry 10 of each weapon type of this ammo which is 40 rounds but that's a lot of dying before it's a fair fight so be warned. Usually these are only used by either cowards who cant hold their own (especially if you are wrecking their whole crew in a 1v3 or. Sometimes used by a few players just having a laugh but I find it near impossible to deal with if you dont have the same ammo. Even with dead eye abilities cards maxed and fortified health it will knock you on your ass long enough for them to get the killshot in. Its OP AF.. with the only limiting factor is the amount you can carry. Still...just thought I'd share.1 point

The Beta was easy to stomach for many people at 1st. Because it was called a 'beta', most of us thought it would only be for a week or two. So it was just fun to play with friends and experience the game. But now R* says the beta will last for a 'few' more months. And the only thing they talked about is minor changes to help against 'griefing'.. When griefing is the least important thing. Unless R* pulls its head of its ass soon. This game will be a ghost town soon. This game needs free aim lobbies and private lobbies. The choice for players to HOST their own co-op and pvp missions. Be it public or private with options to suit taste. The ability to pick what pvp modes they want to play. NOT Show down.. If players want to play team shoot outs ONLY, let them. Just like the OLD RDR. BASIC things that ALL online R* games have had the past 10 year. R* has decided to NOT do it. They sure as hell made sure to get their Gold Bar store open ASAP tho. But in terms of game play they're literally treating their players like cattle. No choice and no control. Srry for the rant. But this is just starting to become frustrating. This is a billion dollar game dev. Not Gun Media...1 point

Red dead redemption 2 is one of the best games I have ever played, and Red Dead Online needs work to match that level of quality. Many cite a lack of content as to why the game is not everything it could be, and while that may be an issue, they seem to forget what made the single player so engrossing. The game thrust you deep into the shoes of Arthur Morgan as he navigated a frontier deep in lore, danger and, most interestingly, populated with a wealth of disparate characters. The Van Der Linde gang itself is a great example of this; as the group is composed of a wealth of criminals with each having their own strengths and weaknesses that contribute to them being a proficient crew. Here is a list of ideas to bring in a strong sense of place and build player connection to their character, and the other player created gunslingers and outlaws that populate the world. Players can pick a class for their character that will help to add a level of diversity in team setups and out in the open world. In order to help with that diversity, each class has a host of unique ability cards for players to build characters around. In addition, each class has specific stat and core buffs tailored to suit the playstyle of the player. Examples of the perks and fortifications come in the form of larger kit size for certain items, more stamina, and access to crafting stronger tonics. Completing missions and activities that are related to that class will net the player extra money and XP. So for example, a Hunter (sniper) will earn more for hunting legendary animals, and a Pickpocket (stealth) will earn more for selling jewelry and other valuables. Each class's abilities and cards are made to be a great tool to turn the tide of a game or scuffle in the frontier. In the name of player diversity, the ability card set up is restructured to add in a new category called Bursts. Much like Max Payne 3, these are special abilities which can be activated by players in need of a tactical change in the heat of battle with NPCs and rival players alike. Players are given a forever updating list of abilities to choose from to occupy their ability slot. Upon pressing in both analog sticks, player can activate their selected ability. For balancing reasons, Dead Eye is included in the list of bursts and, like every one of the abilities, the cards are restructured into being selectable extra effects to add onto the base ability. For example, let's look at the reimagined Eagle Eye burst, a Hunter (the sniper class) activates the new eagle eye in order to automatically track all nearby players, revealing them on the minimap for the entire posse or team. Now at this point, the lesser abilities (which are purchasable like ability cars) of the player are now activated. This Hunter has selected the "expert aim" lesser ability, giving the player who activated it a slight boost to damage against tracked enemies in combat. Players would also be able to choose from higher accuracy against tracked targets or some other stat boost upon the activation of this ability. This process is mirrored in the dead eye ability, as now dead eye gives a flat (upgradable) damage bonus upon activation, and extra effects like organ outlines or marking targets are unlocked as lesser abilities. The base effect of a burst can be upgraded through the crafting of talisman, (more information on that later in the "Shaman" section) and special lesser effects can be found randomly in relics. (See "Shaman" section) Eventually, the Eagle Eye Burst can reveal all players in the world on the game map in the pause menu for the player who activated it, and the damage and accuracy boost can be extended to all possed players. (In order to help balance this in competitive matchups, players are now divided into small sub posses in large team games) Not all burst are for combat and are made for more tactical situations like the Provator Burst which gives the player extra XP and health for killing targets, at the expense of their blip being revealed on the radar for an extended period of time, granting all Players extra XP for killing them. This can be extremely useful in team games and free roam missions for creating a distraction for greedy players. But the ability has multiple uses as activating it will attract all NPCs to giving the player who activated it all of their attention. This works in combat drawing all enemies to primarily focus on attacking the player but also works out of combat as a distraction in towns and hideouts, stopping and attracting the attention of all NPCs giving your team the chance to strike stealthy or snipe from far away. Players can use other team buffing Burst at the same time as this to dominate as a tight unit. Further changes include the fact that the Dead Eye core is now the burst core, and is primarily filled and maintained with water. Tobacco products now simply fortify or fill it. An NPC faction system is added to the game. Players can join any one of the factions operating in the game world, and completing story missions, free roam events and stranger missions with allied players will earn the players rewards. For example, there will be small XP bonuses and a small fortification to the health core upon respawn while riding in a posse with only faction allies. In order to make this easier, players can set their matchmaking settings for story missions to automatically place them in lobbies with other allied players. Furthermore, players will have to manage thier relationship with other factions in the game. Completing missions that task you with attacking of any of the factions will give the player negative or positive relationship points. Earning enough of these will either upgrade or downgrade your relationship rank between admiration and disdain. Each state in the game has two factions calling it home, and every one of these factions are classified as either Honorable or dishonorable. Players who are allied with a faction earn a bonus to their honor or dishonor points gained depending on the honor rating of the faction itself. Each faction will give players a discount to specific shops in their home state, extra money and gold nuggets for completing allied stranger missions, and bonus XP for killing players allied with Rival Factions. All of these rewards will upgrade or downgrade depending on your rank (of 3 respect levels) in the faction. Players can still earn these rewards from factions they are not apart of, but only at the first respect level as a reward for helping them carry out their goals. Factions are also allied with some stranger and story mission givers, and completing a mission for a faction ally will give the player a small bonus to cash and XP. As players upgrade their standing in a faction, they will begin to unlock rewards within the faction base itself like core recharging and fortification, as well as new lucrative opportunities unique to that faction itself. For example, players can bring the corpses of NPCs to the Murphree Brood for money and those who have upgraded their rank can strip bodies for "resources" that be consumed for food. Capping off the faction gameplay is a new game mode that functions similar to the Gang Wars mode from Max Payne 3. Payouts and rewards for Story and Stranger missions are now tied into the honor system which is also completely reworked. There are now 7 Levels to the honor system; three levels for high honor, three levels for dishonor, and one simply in the middle. While wearing a mask negates all honor points gained, Players who stay neutral miss out on many bonuses across the world so its smart to take a stance and stick with it. In order to upgrade your Honor rank to the next level, it takes about 2x the amount of Honor points currently required to go from completely neutral to full honor or dishonor. In order to make progressing down or up the morality meter, Players are given many different appropriate rewards such as store discounts and more lucrative bounty hunting for honorable players and increased payouts for stolen wagons and valuables for dishonorable players. Every stranger and story mission available in the game is now classified as an honorable or dishonorable depending on the mission giver, giving increased payouts in Gold and Money for players who walk the same moral line as them. All of these rewards multiply and grow as the player upgrades their honor rank in either direction. As an added touch honor and dishonor ranking are named and fall in line with the player class. (For example, a dishonorable hunter is a Poacher) Choices made in story missions now give small amounts of honor points for simply choosing a decision, and the first time a player chooses a path with an entire team will give a larger amount of honor points to help affect how they are seen in the world. Missions in future updates offer many different secondary objectives and loose instruction to help players express themselves while on a mission. Joining with a posse will give all players including the bonuses of all players currently riding in it, and the honor ranking of the Posse itself gives an additional small multiplier to payouts. This will help players feel immersed in the world of Red Dead Online, and make it easier to build relationships with brothers in arms, and have deadly encounters with bitter enemies. Players of Red Dead Online currently unlock treasure maps every few levels, or find them out in the world in hideouts or looted from dead enemies. Players are now given the choice of three other mission types to complete when they rank up instead of treasure hunts. Players are given access to a special task like a stagecoach or train robbery from some faction mission givers that rewards the player with a large amount of faction respect and dishonor points upon completion. Players can also visit trappers to collect legendary animal contracts (the variety of which unlocks in bulk every 15 levels) which reward players with valuable crafting materials for Talisman. (See "Shaman" below) In addition, players can collect high-value bounties for sheriffs and honorable factions throughout the world in exchange for a huge reward and faction respect. These are made to offer players team variations for the special rank mission types that reward multiple players in exchange for increased risk. Bonus multipliers are balanced so that the player can at most earn an extra 60% extra at once. 35% from player honor, 20% from Faction bonus, 10% from posse rewards, and 10% from class rewards. SHAMAN AND TRAPPERS Players can visit vendors who will craft special items that will provide slight stat fortifications and perks in exchange for the proper ingredients and the right amount of funds. Trappers have a list of clothing that can be crafted from different perfect animals parts that provide small perks and bonuses. Players can also Travel to the bayous of Lemoyne and meet with a Shaman who can craft Jewelry like rings, Belt buckles, and necklaces that can "enchanted" with selectable stat boosts and unlockable perks. Players gain access to perks from Relics which are found on high-level enemies in missions, gang hideouts, treasure chests and can be looted from NPCs. These items will give the player a random ability that can be added onto a piece of jewelry like an enchantment from other RPGs like Fallout or Elder Scrolls. Relics are found at different tiers (Weak, Medium, Strong, and Legendary) and are either positively or negatively charged. Positively charged relics include perks that become stronger the higher your honor and the reverse is true for negative honor. The player can sell these rare and valuable relics for cash or take them to a shaman who will request other items found in the game world to perform a ritual and bind the perk to your item. Players may be tasked with collecting body parts from animals or collect items like fingernails or teeth from NPC gangs in order to craft these trinkets. Examples of these special items would be a positively charged cross that is hanging from a player character's neck, that has a medium tiered Perk of giving an additional 15% more cash found on enemies and chests. The base Relic promised to give the player an additional 10% more cash, but since the player has rank 2 positive honor, they gain an additional 5%. Ranking up the highest positive honor rank will give the player an extra 10%, giving the player an additional 20% cash in total from looting; and that's only from a mid-range relic. The necklace also has a lesser ability to give the player 15% more extra XP for killing NPCs, so this player is in effect maximizing reward potential from PVE game modes. RANDOM IDEAS Players can use the binoculars to study other players, animals, and NPCs which gives them a damage bonus against them for a set amount of time. Players can also track other players in order to have their general location remain on the radar for a long period of time. Traquilizer arrows for pacifist missions. A new class of valuables to be found in reward chests and wagons; rubies and bearer bonds. Players can buy pots and pans and prepare meals with canned food and meats from birds and game. These meals yield gold cores for a day and buff one stat. Players can sell wagons to all faction hideouts, and there are randomly spawned high-value wagons that are driven by faction NPCs. These are carrying high-value goods like Moonshine to be delivered to settlements much like armored cars in GTA Online. Stealing one will cause conflict with that faction unless the player is adequately disguised. Players can buy pots and pans and prepare meals with canned food and meats from birds and game. These meals yield gold cores for a day and buff one stat. ORIGINAL POST ON GTA FOURMS: https://gtaforums.com/topic/923477-what-red-dead-online-needs-to-succeed-a-proposal-for-player-diversity/1 point

bandana's back then weren't worn for fashion. They had a purpose. Most men in those days didn't give a sh*t about fashion and wearing patterns, or if their shirt matched their spurs. etc. The only things that mattered about a bandanna was if it matched the colors if they were in a gang, (like The Cowboys and the Wild Bunch all wore red bandannas) to keep dust/dirt from their mouths, and conceal themselves if needed. I think the masks are stupid, masks back then were mainly worn in the cities by the rich and the suck-ups to their balls and parties. Men of the wild west didn't wear masks, they used their bandannas. About the only time you'd see a mask on an outlaw was their death photograph/drawing depending on the undertaker, or if they got shot in the face/head.1 point

yes. And i still know how to use the Dewey decimal system to find the book or magazine in the library Those were the days, one dictionary, maybe 2, and 2 encyclopedias to find all your facts in, although around here the Encyclopedia Britannica was used more. And we had to have 3 resources listed in our papers to show we actually did the research or we would fail on that paper. I went back to college in 2014 to finish my degree and was amused to find that wikipedia is not (or was not then, may have changed now) recognized by universities as a valid source of information. If that site was cited on your papers you failed.1 point

NEVER be ashamed of being a Swede (warning, slightly NSFW for language): All kidding aside, things to be ashamed of should have more to do with what you've done as a person than where you're from. This is the most true statement in this thread. R* should be making announcements about expected content changes once the beta concludes. Will additional content to free roam be available at "launch" or is it a backburner item? The biggest impediment to the game's long term viability is the lack of free roam content. By making it a PvP environment (sorry @Kean_1, but with friendly fire being a persistent state, the game is absolutely PvP, and not PvPvE, like The Elder Scrolls Online), there's little for players to do once they achieve max rank other than kill each other in the free roam environment until endgame content, like raids or dungeons, is implemented. Maybe they have instanced, gated content like robbing a wagon train, bank heists, storming a fort to rescue an NPC or Posse member, whatever.1 point

We all know what game we're playing. It's also represented in all of R*'s marketing for the mode....... "blending narrative with competitive and cooperative gameplay in fun new ways", "Red Dead Online will be ready to be explored alone or with friends, and will also feature constant updates and adjustments to grow and evolve this experience for all players.", etc., etc. It's clear to me that R* wants to make Free Roam an experience for all to enjoy. Yes, it's a PvPvE model but it needs balance. Personally, I think there should be consequences for griefers. As it is now, there are none and they roam around the game world with impunity. There's no bounty, penalty, etc. Regardless of whether I enjoy skirmishes at times, it can be very frustrating and fun-ruining being trolled especially when you really just want to do your own thing solo or with friends. ......and especially when you are at a steep disadvantage whether that's being outnumbered or being bullied by a fully kitted player(s) dozens of levels above you. There is absolutely no fun in that IMO / IME. Even when I do have the advantage, killing someone over and over again because they won't go away is boring is not my idea of a great time. Regardless, R* has acknowledged that griefing is one of the most received complaints from fans and they have committed to trying to balance the gameplay as a result. Whether that puts some people off, it is all that matters to me. Private sessions are great and I would still love to see them materialize, but if GTAO is any indication, Free Roam may be the only option if you want to participate in most businesses and related missions. In that case, I would prefer R* address the Free Roam concern sooner rather than later. .....and I for one am glad they are listening. Let's face it.... These anti-griefing measures are not going to stop people from trolling. Some may even see the new bounty system, etc. as a challenge. I just hope the gameplay feels more balanced is all.1 point

No. Every horse I have bought is on the brink of death. I just looked at my two back up horses, and all their core are red. Hope is gets fixed soon. While I agree that R* does like players attacking other players just to slow down their grind. GTA O is proof of that. You're whole narrative kinda falls apart when you posse up This is not a passive game and isn't meant to be played as one. You either outrun players, out gun them or out number them. Even NPCS can spawn out of no where and kill you. Hopefully R* adds private lobbies. So players who don't want to deal with other players can play there.1 point

Bluewater Marsh as well as the shoreline west of Rhodes are both areas rich with the types of birds worth killing for the feathers. I.e. pelicans, loons, spoon bills, herons, cormorants, hawks and owls...all of which who's feathers range from $1.20 ea - $1.95 ea with ability to carry up to 10 at a time. Plus the shoreline also supports small and largemouth bass worth $2ea and Steelhead trout worth $2.50ea. All of which cannot be taken from you upon your death by griefers. These areas also have Muskrats and Rabbits. The marsh holds gators for big game meat and wild mint to fortify health with as well The shore has the occasional cougar and Ginseng/Tobacco. Plus a gang hideout that spawns. Great areas.1 point

Historically, the last two "official" online game communities I've been a part of have devolved into cesspits of negative energy. It's one thing to have developers and people who work on the game actively engage the community, but not everyone is suited to handle communicating with "the public" or "the customer". That's where a lot of companies go wrong in that they not only allow, but encourage team members to answer on behalf of the company in an official capacity, when in reality they're irrefutably better off letting media professionals or community engagement specialists manage the process with limited, tightly controlled access to team members who actively work on a title. That's not to say that team members unilaterally incapable of interacting with the public, but the company stands to gain very little from the exposure and risk they create by allowing employees unfiltered access to interact with the customer base. In a case like R* and RDR2, the game has such an enormous install base that there isn't really much to gain by having an official community presence. By keeping official communication isolated to select gaming journalists, news outlets, and offical press releases, R* limits their exposure to potentially damaging communications by employees who aren't trained on how to effectively communicate with the public. Branding is VERY important in the modern culture. People get attached to brands and develop loyalty as a consumer, so it's imperative that a company find an effective way to not only obtain but RETAIN customers. An official online forum for specific games creates too much exposure to liability to be an asset worth pouring time and resources into, especially at the level that R* is at, when hundreds of millions of dollars are at stake. People here in the US seem to inaccurately adhere to the notion that the First Amendment, guaranteeing free speech, applies to the private sector. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Amendment is there to prevent the government from creating laws to restrict speech. Private companies absolutely retain the right to monitor employee activity both in and outside the workplace as a condition to employment. One of the biggest mistakes I see people make (particularly younger people) is the inability to segregate workplace and personal relationships in social media. I highly encourage everyone to maintain separate social media profiles for work and personal use, because you never know who is reading what you say/post online, and who may report what you're saying to your employer. Circling back to my original point, folks seem to forget that when they make comments in the public space (which includes online gaming communities), that their employer can be held accountable for their actions under the legal doctrine respondent superior . When employees participate in official communities of the companies they work for, it creates a very complicated situation for parties on all sides, so R* deciding to eschew an official online community (outside of the Rockstar Games Social Club) makes a lot of sense, especially from a legal and media management perspective. TL:DR; The most likely reason R* doesn't have an official online community is to limit their exposure in the event that an employee or agent says or does something stupid. And they really don't need one give the runaway financial success of their titles overall, and consumer brand loyalty.1 point

Go ahead and kill as many larger animals as you like simply for the meat value and other items but yes. carrying over 4 pelts will cause you to forfeit payment for the majority. Deer skins are always the one that bugs out if you have a wide variety of pelts on your horse. Stick to birds and small game (spoonbills, and muskrats/rabbits) and after 4 pelts of larger animals stop storing them on your horse.1 point

Guys.. Not for nothing but this topic isn't about Griefing. Its about R* not adding the basic and bare necessities to the game. From Free Aim, to Private Lobbies.. to actual in game Options. That have been included in every GTA O game for over 10 years. Someone simply read my comment about "Griefing being the least important thing" line when compared to what I listed, and kind of took offense to it. Many Players are sitting here waiting for R* to simply say. "Free Aim lobbies are coming.. Private Lobbies are coming". Instead we get a post about up coming changes to the game (Some of which tackles griefing). Griefing is the least important for R* to post about. Same with posting about how they will add NEW showdown modes.1 point

Ok i got your point, interesting approach to look after quantity rather than quality. I will try it and see how it works! The only thing that discourage me is I noticed that the more pelts you have to sell, the more issue you will get with it. I generally don't have problem if i keep only 2-3 skins max from each animal, and no more than 10 skins in total (so if i encounter an animal which isn't perfect, i don't hunt or cut it. I keep only the perfect ones). Fully agree about Condors in New Austin, i like to go there as well. My favourite area for birds remain north of St Denis, there are plenty of exotic birds that have different feathers, then you can stock a lot. Carcasses are ok as well, for example 4$ each for a roseite spoonbill, and you can bring 2x on your hose. Obviously, Guarma is also a perfect place to hunt exotic birds, and they seems to spawn everywhere with superior numbers. By the way If someone is interested in going back there (yes in Online), just ask me1 point

I like the tension of online players as well. During missions the game sets other posse's as enemies and encourages this as well. I would not want a change in this. However (and this happened this morning to me), I was hunting in Saint Denis and there was just 1 player besides me in the city. I had hunted for an hour had a deer lassoed and brought it to the butcher. The other player was afk like just standing there (because I do try to be careful) so i checked and he was not moving. Proceeded to skin the deer when i got headshotted. By the time I get back to the butcher this guy had sold the deer. I shot him, then called for my horse. He came back shot me as I was approaching my horse, and when i respawned he had sold all other carcasses and was inside the general store before leaving the server. You might call this fun or so, but being able to do this without getting any penalty whatsoever for me is a no-go and needs to be addressed. This is for me real griefing and not a let's test our skills and see who is better in a wild west game. For the rest I agree with OP, however I think Rockstar needs to deal with the day 1 issues first (lvl1 bonding horse and many other things). Furthermore they need to add stuff to do and not focus on different kind of lobbies first. PVP wise there is plenty to do already, it is time more grinding is added to acquire things and especially posse related grinding. What is the point of levelling after lvl 100 which quite a few players have reached - at a certain point people also have the essential kit they want to run with along with playerspecific extra's so they start saving up for when new content is added or start buying non essential stuff. The game indeed needs PVE related content badly.1 point

While sharing your ideas here is great, if you have suggestion that you want heard by R* then I would also suggest submitting it through their feedback link: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=addb2b0b1 point

Three of us tried different ways of contacting Sony regarding the blocking issue, posting, chatting and emailing. The direct quote that one of us got while doing an online chat was interesting. "We totally understand your situation and we are sorry to know that you are getting issues with those players, and you won't be on the same lobby if you block the player and you will avoid them and enjoy the game in a better way, sounds good?" The rest of the chat log rambled a little so I'm still not 100% sure. But I'll take it for what it's worth. Reporting is a step up from blocking but this Sony rep seemed to think that just blocking might keep us from the same lobby as griefers/bullies. I only wish there was some log of every griefer that has popped me so far (is there one online?) but I guess I'll just start today and ask my friends for names of those they've come across. This isn't much because there are a ton of people playing online but I'll feel a little better knowing that these clowns will only get a one shot attack on me (if it really works).1 point

No. And why would you want to? It's quite easy to get money in story mode.1 point

Just going out on a limb here but I already thought it was John marathons wife! I k ow this is a little far fetched but when they talk about jack it kind of makes sense!1 point

Because anything that fixes 'griefing'.. Which is really just killing other players. Will also effect the players who defend themselves. So the game just becomes... .whats the word. Ugh? Some sort of yella bella city slicker type of horse shiiiit. Hell, the biggest griefers I deal with are mostly my friends.. Who when posse'd up kill each other, hog tie each other, drop each other off cliffs.. burn each other alive.. And when a random 'griefer' does show up. It turns into a massive feeding frenzy. Like all the zombies in the church in 28 days later poppin their heads up. (Fresh MeaT?) I play alone and set my profile offline all the time. Just so I can be attacked by 'griefers' in peace...lol1 point

Dude.. this is a WILD WEST game. If people bother you, you already have 3 choices. Out gun them, out number them OR find a new lobby. The only thing that's missing is private lobbies. That solves everything. They could also add friendly servers. But to try and fix something like randoms killings would be a Band- Aid. And R* has already proved with GTA O that anything they add to stop griefers gets used by griefers against players.1 point

I agree. There are times when a gunfight is fun, even though I lose most of them, and there are times when I just want to fish or hunt in peace, and two servers would satisfy this. I can't see why this can't be done easily. Then you can chose what one you feel like entering.1 point

the 6 feet cable is the same cable. 3 feet is very short. It is the only cable with all the new 2.1 features in germany. On a 2.0b TV it uses only a higher signal, lower input lag, stable quality in all resolutions. The brightness is slightly higher. You can see that in apps like netflix or amazon prime too. It is different. The biggest difference is for me the witcher 3 with hdr. Ok, but this is the graphical blur issue thread of rdr21 point

Likewise. & sidenote for anyone reading this who is on the fence about joining: go ahead & fill out the application & download the Discord app. Its minimal effort & definitely worth it to play with a group of competent & like-minded people ðŸ¤1 point

The attitude you have is kind of wrong.. Well id say the lack of attitude. Im friendly.. and will help players. I help them all the time. But in the back of my mind im always waiting for someone to attack me and that its what makes it fun. For me its.. go ahead, and make my day. One of my favorite games of all time was Diablo 2. Back in that game the griefers where called PKers. A lot of people hated them.. I LOVED them. Because they added sort of evil encounter feel to the game that was better than AI's. There was also private game options.. Same applies to RD O. R* should not dumb this game down for players who don't like conflict with others. They should add private lobbies OR at the very least Friendly Lobbies for PvE only players. I don't want R* to punish griefers or hostile players. I can do it myself. Griefing is the least important thing R* should be focusing on. They should be adding BASIC game player features and options, some of which would end griefing by default.1 point

Dude.. Private Lobbies means you can run around the map all day on a donkey while using a bow and arrow and NO ONE can mess with you. You would have nothing to complain about if they had private lobbies. That also means.. If you chose to play public games, you agree to deal with public randoms.1 point
-
No its not.. I've rarely been griefed. When im alone, I just play it smart. With friends, we steam roll through everyone in our way. And if we had Private lobbies... Players like you who have a problem with being 'griefed'... would not be have any problems at all. Dumbing this game down more and more to suit the taste of players who don't want to be killed. Will only ruin the experience for players who like the 'anything can happen' feel of the game.1 point

You really have experienced true marriage till you played the old, "What do you want for dinner" game. You ask your wife what would she like for dinner. She'll say I don't care. You make a suggestion and she'll respond with she doesn't want that. Then you point out she must care then. She'll be like I don't care, till you suggest something else. You can play this game all night. Then if someone ask what you had for dinner, she'll be like "nothing, he couldn't decide on what he wanted."1 point

Anyone saying that its an outlaw game, and you should kill and troll is stupid. Thats not how the wild west works. Thats how bad GTA multi player works. Real outlaws wouldn't kill randomly because there were consequences. All we ask is that there are severe punishments for trolls. Like being wanted and able to be killed for money by any player. And why not have a passive mode.1 point
