Keep an eye out for the PS conference at E3

I think it may have been talked about already but there was a partnership with Sony and Rockstar so there is a chance we may hear something on RDR2 at E3 but at IGN states, it is highly unlikely...

Rockstar usually skips E3 and prefers to hold its own reveal events. But it would be a good get for a first-party conference, and we already know PlayStation is partnering with Rockstar for timed exclusivity on select online content for Red Dead Redemption 2. So if it appears anywhere at E3, expect it to be at Sony’s conference — but don’t hold your breath.

Do you think the PS conference will have any news?

Nah. IGN is spot on. Don't hold your breath. They like to be the main stage and center attraction. I am sure we will get something from them directly before Sony gets to say anything about it.

I agree with this. They wont let Sony show case ANYTHING before they do. Rockstar has some greedy mofos!

Hmm... I wonder if they would do it. I mean, why not? It is not like the game is going on sale this year. There will be people there already. Just let us know a but about the dang game! They will save money too hosting something at E3 instead of going their own way.

I am going to say what I said before (to someone else) and that is that this is not happening. Rockstar don't just piddle out bits about their games at events like this. They showcase their own work in their own time and fashion.

I agree. Even if Playstation did get a special deal (which I think they did) that doesn't mean Rockstar will allow them to share anything. They want to reveal it themselves.

Doesn't surprise me about the deal being made. Sony has had the lead console sales the last few years so games will likely continue to give them exclusive content.  As for saying anything at E3... That may be part of Rockstar and Sony's deal.

Sony would have been pretty disappointed/annoyed with the delay too I bet. Means they need to wait also, to take advantage and see some returns themselves on the deal.

Have R$ ever showing ANYTHING at E3?

I don't think they have done that directly, themselves. But they teamed up with Sony, as part of Sony's preso, to announce the "enhanced" version of GTA V for PS4 (and Xbox One).

I don't see them saying anything at this point other than announcing "exclusives". Would not surprise me if they use the same trailer we already seen. I was thinking like why not but the closer it gets the less likely it seems to be anything worth seeing if they DO decide to say anything at all.

E3 just one week away now... I am preparing myself for disappointment (nothing about RDR2).

BUT... what if during the Sony pres they said something like "And now we'd like to talk about a special partnership that we have with Rockstar Games... but first here's a sneak peek at some gameplay footage of what we're talking about..." That would be awesome, but I don't expect it.

Come now everyone, Rockstar is going to shock us and announce a PC version at the PC gaming show tomorrow.

In other news, Elvis is still alive and living next door to Michael Jackson!

No way,If they're going to announce the PC version it's going to be after the release of console version for sure

I hate to say it but E3 was very meh this year. I feel like Playstation overall had the worst presentation which is sad. Nintendo did okay and Xbox was just ehh. I started watching these events a few years back and this year was the most disappointing for me. Not even any news on RDR2. Pff.

E3 has never been something great in my book. I mean, for those who play all platforms and all kinds of games it is worth tuning in but not me. I only cared to see any news about RDR2 and as stated, it didn't happen as what was expected.
