Release date in September?

A guy who was a judge for E3 (someone who gets to see all the games before everyone) this week just let slip a possible date for Red Dead when talking about Destiny 2!

Hmmm that would be a major slip of the tongue if he was correct... I wonder what will happen!

If you think about it... GTA V was released in September, and if you go on the date in that video, the release for RDR2 could also be very similar (within 10th to the 20th of Sep). Maybe they've generated a release schedule for their games. So if we can pinpoint when info on GTA V came out, maybe that's when RDR2 info will release too?

It's definitely possible.

I also wanted to ask if anyone thinks the reason for this weird lack of communication is because of the Benz departure from and Lawsuit against Rockstar? He has been critical in making previous games and now he's gone and we get this weird silence. Anyone else reckon there is a link there? I would hate it to be so - that one guy could have been so critical that it potentially stops a game coming out - but maybe it is so!

I wouldn't count on that. They promised more info in the Summer and E3 is a week before it.

Yeah I think we will be waiting another very long period of time before even more info...

I was talking to someone online today about the delay and he said that he feels like it will be pushed back to the fall of 2018. 

If that happens I may legit cry.

My friend was trying to tell me today that the delay is a decoy and they will still be releasing it this year. I love his optimism but I laughed for nearly 40 minutes straight. I pulled several muscles.

My guess is Rockstar will do something in July or maybe August. I am not sure what but I am sure we will get something.

So how many days do we have roughly, assuming when they said Spring, they meant May?... I am no good at math. I just feel like it is too many days to count at this point. Damn near a full year.

Seems like most people are now okay with the delay. No one is complaining anymore which is good to see. I know delays suck but in the long run, it will benefit the game. Here's to hoping we get some new updates next month.

Yeah I am under that impression. I only see a few people going on and on about it at this point. I don't even see it being brought up anymore really unless in a joking manner on here too.

You can only complain about something you have absolutely no control over for so long, everyone seems to have accepted it and moved on like you said. After the initial anger of course... I think things will go pretty darn quiet unless we get a decent amount of info next drop. Otherwise the anger will come back. We basically a year to go I think a lot of hype/air will deflate out of the balloon.

I am sure they have plans to keep people talking though. Like since the delay did push things back. We will get tid bits now and then just to remind us the game is still coming out.
