  2. There's a difference between marketing a game as authentically pvp, and saying there's pve gameplay, but then not providing it. And you can disparage PvE players all you want, but the fact of the matter is, RDRO is being branded and marketed as a Western themed MMO. Not everyone who enjoys a PvE experience is "crying to water things down", as you put it. That's an elitist attitude, one born of an intentional blindness to altruism. You and many others have repeatedly disparaged those seeking a PvE experience, clamoring for things to "not be watered down". Perhaps you could provide a detailed explanation of what you desire/expect from the free roam experience. Is it nothing but chaos? The thrill of having to "watch your back"? Or is it simply that you enjoy having the opprotunity to prey upon lower level characters or team up to harass solo players? Not judging, I'd just like to have a clearer understanding of what your specific expectations and desires are for RDRO, because at the moment, R* has completely misrepresented what the experience was going to be to a large (perhaps half) of the potential player base. The current game caters exclusively to PvP players. Every single non-Free Roam game mode is a PvP mode. Free Roam itself is a PvP mode. There are literally no dedicated PvE elements, apart from isolated group missions, in the current Free Roam experience. 95% of the online content is geared towards PvP gameplay, so demanding things not be "watered down" is arguing in favor of maintaining a strict PvP status for the entirety of the experience, aside from a few isolated missions. Or would like to be able to betray your teammates during those missions as well? I have proposed many, many times that PvP/PvE status be a toggle for the player, subject to a 30 second cool down once out of combat. To date, nobody has provided an effective rebuttal to this proposal. Players who like the surprise element of Free Roam game play literally lose nothing. PvP players can leave their toggle active and do whatever they please to other PvP flagged players. PvE players can hunt and fish, or do missions in peace, without being shot in the back of the head exiting a cutscene before they can even orient themselves. The only "loser" in this scenario is the troll/griefer who enjoys preying upon lower level or solo characters with a pack of cohorts. So, to summarize:

  3. I think the issue is that a lot of people consider this an online shooting game, which it is not. Call of duty is an online shooting game. RDR is an immersive online adventure game that has far too many other aspects to be considered just a shooter. Hunting, gathering, fishing, eating, animal care, treasure hunts, a compendium of animals and goals to complete.. the list goes on. Call of duty is an online shooting game because that is the main focus, requiring minimal other activities to complete the game. It is impossible to complete RDR2 without doing the things I listed above. Just because RDR2 used shooting as the base to build upon does not make it a shooting game anymore than Madden 19 is a running simulator. So, with that being said, I'll answer your question. I expect this game to be treated and developed into the open world, historical, interactive game that it was designed to be and not into yet another mindless run and gun shooter that requires nothing more than all of our available free time to memorize the spawn points and map and a ton of Mountain Dew.

  4. I get the realistic aspect they are going for and how the game is meant to work. I don't mind getting into shootouts and what not but when I am minding my own business in the middle of the woods and I have a trio of dudes harassing me, messing with me, or killing me repetitively... It gets old fast.

  5. I think that's the problem right there. This isn't an online shooting game. COD is. Far Cry is. Over Watch is. I would classify RDO as more of a Western Sim. Yes, there can be and should be a "you can get shot at anytime" component, but that isn't the focus of the game. It's also something that I should be able to opt INTO. Sometimes I'm on to fish for a few hours to gain enough money to buy that new gun I want. It's hard to do and gets annoying when some random comes up and kills me. I could ALMOST see the pointif there was some type of benefit to the "griefer". I'm all for PVP, WHEN I WANT to be in PVP, not when some jerky-jerk decides I should be.

  6. The only counter-point to this would be what happened to me last night; I accepted a stranger mission to retrieve a boat, which I was doing solo. A posse of three rode after me, but I made it to the point in the river where I entered a cut scene. The millisecond I came out of the cut scene, I took a head shot, got called a "noob b*tch" and then harassed for the next five minutes by this threesome, riding down on me within seconds of spawning and just running a train on me. It didn't bother me, but when you literally have folks approaching level 100 grouping up on a level 8 player, no amount of head shots or tactics are going to offset better weaponry, equipped cards, etc., I can easily see why some folks would be aggrieved and just quit the game. Once they got bored, I rode to the nearest fast-travel post and just jumped across the map to greener pastures. No sweat off my nose. The game's mechanics encourage players to gang up and bully folks like a bunch of Alpha Hotels that didn't get enough hugs from mom and dad growing up. Judging from the voices, I'd put them at high-school age or maybe college, but far from fully formed adults. But the point is, not everyone has the luxury to posse up with a group of good, let alone reliable, players. I'm slowly building my group up, but when I'm forced to endure constant disconnects when I do try to join a session, R* is effectively putting up roadblocks to the very activity that is most commonly proscribed to truncate being victimized or aggrieved. Telling folks that they need to posse up or wait for R* to implement private lobbies isn't a viable solution when neither is reliably available at this juncture. I'm not into taking hints, but I am a glutton for punishment. On the plus side, every moment a griefer spends focused on me, other innocent players can get away. I'm content to waste someone's time who doesn't realize their being distracted. When R* is marketing the game as an RPG with PvE gameplay, having the entirety of the experience be nothing but PvP is misleading. Not advocating that they change the core mechanics, but they'd be alienating half the game playing population by having no PvE elements. And right now, that's exactly what they have, ZERO true PvE gameplay. Literally every mode is PvP, from the entire showdown and Gun Rush game variants, to "Free Roam" which is really just a playground for opportunists to prey up on players of disproportionate skill. There's literally five or six other game modes devoted to PvP, is it really so unreasonable to allow players who wish to opt out of the PvP experience and have a PvE environment. You seem to be focused on what is necessary for your own personal enjoyment of the game, which is fine, but ignoring that there's a very large portion of the player population who view the online mode as an online story mode that lets them play with friends. R* markets the game as such, so it's disingenuous to expect everyone to buy into the online experience when it's entirety is PvP. Labeling Free Roam "PvEvP" is a blatant misrepresentation because PvP is ALWAYS on. I've said it before and I'll say it again: making PvP and PvE status a toggle with a 30 or 60 second cool down once out of combat is still the most effective way to cater to all parties in a fair and equitable way. PvP players lose nothing, they can still PvP against anyone else so inclined. If anything, it adds complexity and nuance as players could have PvE decoys to lure PvP players in and then pounce on them. PvE players gain the peace and serenity of not being bushwacked and ganged up on by a bunch of trolling losers whose only enjoyment comes from aggrieving others. Trolls are the only losers in this scenario, and I have yet to see a valid argument against this model. If it's good enough for the most successful MMORPG of all time (WoW), it should be good enough for RDRO. Exactly my point. The core gameplay of TD was built around cooperative gameplay that allowed players to actively choose when to endanger themselves by entering the DZ of their own volition. And I agree about the rush--I don't personally PvP, but I knew what to expect when going into the DZ and goofing around. It's a great "change of pace" mechanic from the main game play, but I couldn't see an entire game built around that mechanic being sustainable in the long term, and that's what we're in danger of with RDRO--once the PvE players go away, and there's nobody for the Trolls to prey upon, they'll get bored as well. You go into the DZ now in TD, and all you hear about is people whining about how much it sucks now because PvE players aren't forced to go in there for loot like they were back when some of the best loot was gated in there. Can you imagine if the entire TD experience was like the DZ? It'd never be sustainable long term--if it were, TD2 would have gone that route, but they didn't. Completely agree. There's plenty of NPC's and anyone begging for more needs to step up and go into St. Denis with a posse pulling "a Number 6". No shortage of NPC's there...

  8. People moaning but in truth weve all asked for realistic games for years.we should deal with it.its the wild west after all.wasnt a nice place to be or survive in.if you dont like the lobby change lobbies.i dont wanna see a game where its not realistic.and pussy foot around people because they dont like the gameplay.i hate being griefed but its apart of the game.if i struggle solo to much and get bullied i just leave lobby.cant control how others play just because some get fun out of griefing.or if people decide to try rob my mission.its annoying but fun at same time.i dont grief anyone but of someone tries it i will come back at them.if i decide ive had enough i will leave.its male ego that gets in the way.i couldnt care less if another player is quicker or better than me.good for him.just move on and enjoy this beautiful game.its only gonna get so much better.i never played read dead one and this game has blown my mind.peoples moaning is whats negative and taking the fun out of it.it is a work of art only this art can be perfected.keep the WILD WEST the WILD WEST.

  9. Hey Chris, Just know that I'm talking as a fellow member here. If I weren't a mod, I'd still be posting what I did. I'm just hoping we can all agree based on the kind of community I know we are and that we can continue to be. I really like this community otherwise I wouldn't have accepted the job as a mod. ....and I only did because I wanted to give back to all the folks who have contributed to make this one of the better forums out there. I get the frustration of seeing a game's direction turn for what you feel is the worst. Let's hope this isn't the case with RDO and that the solutions R* comes with can have benefits for us all. ....speaking of which, I hardly see anyone mention this but I'm kinda curious about the whole bounty / posse thing. Look what R* says here: Makes me wonder the role players will have in this new "dynamic" they invision. Maybe now we can actually have outlaws and lawmen RP in the game. I could see this being fun and a challenge for both. I'm sure there will be rewards for both.

  10. The PvP / PvE aspect of Free Roam is obviously a well debated topic and one that has sparked some obvious divides among some folks. All I'm saying is that we can still discuss the topics here with a level of civility without trying to belittle someone or a group of fellow members simply for sharing a difference of opinion. That only serves to incite a negative reaction in others followed by a toxic exchange. What good does that do? Hey, I get tired of hearing some folks as well on forums for one reason or another so I just use the ignore feature and voila. .....I don't have to read their remarks. I can't really do that here because I'm a mod (I need to see what folks are posting), but I think you get the point. All I will say about your examples of "whiners" is that in RDOs case, those folks used the feedback site R* provided to lodge their complaints and make their suggestions. ....and this wasn't a small group according R*. This feedback is the reason they are implementing anti-griefing measures for those who indiscriminately kill (using their own words). No one here is privy to all of the gameplay data, feedback, reports, etc. that R* is. .....and I have to believe they are using all of that valuable information to help drive their decisions vs. making knee-jerk choices based on the opinion of a small minority of their player base. Look, my point is that slamming people for voicing their opinion isn't the answer. First, it doesn't help change anyone's opinion on the topic and second, it doesn't change anything with the game. Unlike other betas on console, RDO is still in development and R* is taking feedback seriously in it's development. They have been urging people to use their feedback page to submit their own ideas, suggestions, bug reports and complaints. I've used it several times myself. If you really don't like the direction you think RDO is going, I would urge you to do the same.

  11. That is it exactly. You don't get it. You apparently have never, just been out hunting or fishing and had other players near by doing their own thing and neither of you having to interrupt what each other is doing. That is player interaction. You apparently have never been riding along and seen a hideout pop up, head over and see another player being pinned down by the NPCs and decide that, "hey I think I will draw agro and ride away. Giving the other player the chance to get back on his feet and finish the hideout and grabbing their rewards. You just don't understand that being on a same server doesn't require you to intervene in their fun. To you, it moves, I shoot it dies. You don't get that not all palyers are level 100 with everything unlocked and are at a huge advantage over a player just starting out. You also don't get that creating private servers that Rockstar won't punish those players who use them, by docking xp or loot or blocking content. You just don't get it. All of this Rockstar has been doing for a very long time and this is the 1st time they have made a statement that they want to FIX griefing. You don't get that either. Yeah it will change how we play PvP a little, but if done correctly. We won't notice the difference after a few hours of playing. Now a PvEvP, does get that. They understand they have the power to make a difference on who or what they shoot at.

  12. Nice. I use a similar argument when people complain about violence in "The Punisher" and think it's gratuitous. The response is always along the lines of "He's 'The Punisher', not "The Kitten Cuddler". So your point is well taken. But I think what @YodaMan 3D is referring to is a more collaborative gameplay experience, like being in a group or posse and tackling missions together or raiding enemy hideouts as a group activity. I think we can all agree that the core gameplay mechanic that's available in the current beta is significantly lacking for things to do, apart from griefing, which is why I think it's so prevalent. People are already maxed out and have hundreds of thousands of dollars saved up, and they have NOTHING better to do at this point. The game needs the MMO equivalent of raids or gated instanced content that is immersive and takes an hour or more to complete, not a bunch of five minute missions to retrieve a boat, guard a wagon, or a quick firefight with some hobos in the woods. Let's have a prolonged siege of the forts, or robbing an armored and well defended train. Add a mission for 5+ players to defend one of the military forts or hold out for reinforcements in a prolonged, difficult engagement with a numerically superior enemy (not all unlike a horde mode, but with preset "win" conditions). There's so much potential for the missions in the online mode, and what we've seen from the beta has been, largely, lazy and uninspired. But boy are they sure happy to take our money when we buy gold bars! "Here's a new handkerchief, some sparkly suspenders, and a knock-kneed horse, now go out and replay the exact same content again!"

  13. No one said you have to play solo. Sorry dude.. I don't get it. The main interaction between players in this game is either friendly emotes or gun shots. This isn't My Little Pony Princess Adventure land.

  14. I wouldn't go that far. But it's an argument why separate servers isn't the answer. You'd be flagged for PvP for the duration of the mission, but would revert to PvE at it's end if that is your status prior to starting it. This also prevents you from being shot in the back of the head when you exit the cutscene before being able to defend yourself (something that happens to me at LEAST half of the time, which is, frankly, Bravo Sierra). That was me. My argument is, "if it works for the most successful MMO of all time, it should be good enough for this." An important point, because the many of the same griefing activities that could be carried out in a toggle system would exist in a PvE environment as well, so the argument to separate the two into different servers is ineffective because it literally changes nothing except for gimping griefers/trolls.
    2 points
  15. Have everyone's default status set to PvE when it's rolled out. PvE players get what they want, and PvP players get the opportunity to activate at their leisure--which provides plenty of strategic opportunities if you think about it. That's not a logical argument. FFA players are already in the game with passive players--the passive players don't actively seek out PvP opportunities, so FFA players are simply looking to impose their will on players who want nothing to do with it. All you get now is the coercion of passive players into attempting to defend themselves (if they're even given the opportunity to do so). FFA players have no idea what a player's intentions are, so by having them toggled PvE, literally nothing changes, except for their ability to be ganged up on or shot in the back while off hunting/fishing/etc.... As long as there's no distinguishing feature or identifiers if a player is PvE or PvP, that element of FFA remains because you'll never know what to expect. Unless you're advocating for the ability to indiscriminately murder other players as you see fit, there's not a logical argument there. That's an argument for straight up PvP--calling it FFA is gilding the lily; just say you want PvP in Free Roam or dedicated servers. I'm trying to avoid having dedicated servers because once that road is traveled, there will be a push by the PvP community to have modifiers like increased XP gains, or nerfs to PvE servers because of the ability to farm or stat boost in peace. That's a dangerous precedent, and it creates a caste system within the game. Bigger posses that run amok on a server can rack up XP with impunity by harrying smaller or less well equipped posses/gangs. If that's what R* wants and intends, fine, but until they make a clear, definitive statement about their intentions, I wouldn't expect separate lobbies anytime soon. Loot tagging systems have been around forever. The simplest solution would be that if you "tag" a target by hitting it, any loot pulled from it is replicated and placed in your inventory if you're anywhere near it when it's looted. It actually would make more sense, in that a posse or group out hunting would have the benefit of not having to split loot or have everyone dismount and loot. If two groups or unallied players are chasing the same animal, whoever kills it with one shot DESERVES the loot. And locking looting behind the tagging system would prevent people from stealing someone else's loot. As for the fish thing? No system is perfect, but do you honestly expect full posses to roll up on lone fishermen and sit there tossing dynamite into a lake or stream? Trolling is going to exist no matter what they do, but mitigating things like spawn camping when players can't even defend themselves (like coming out of a cutscene) is WAAAAAAY different than ganking someone's fish or deer. A toggle addresses that. The argument for a separate lobby is all well and good, but I'd be wary about that because the same people accusing PvE players of "whining" are going to start whining themselves for extra XP or special status for paying in a PvP or FFA lobby instead of a PvE one; mark my words.

  16. I can't say I hate this option, my concern would be I start to spawn in. Griefer kills me before I am completely in. I respawn and rinse and repeat. Would I be in PvP or PvE? Pending on how they define it, a player may never get to the chance to make the switch. Exactly when you can originally select it would be good.

  17. Thou shalt not disparage thine life-force sustaining refreshment. May The Dew of the Mountain flow forth freely that thine people may drink of it and have their extreme thirst be quenched. May their energy be replenished, and their vigor restored. That has not been my experience. Looking at The Division, skilled PvP players looking for a challenge tend to play Last Stand, the dedicated PvP mode. Trolls and griefers play in The Dark Zone, actively looking for easy prey, often hunting in packs against solo or unorganized players. Once PvE players no longer had to venture into the DZ to obtain gated loot, the PvE population in the DZ dwindled, and now, it's literally packs of Rogue Agents looking for solo players, and griping about "how much it sucks" now that there's nobody to kill. RDRO is NOT a "PvEvP" environment. It's straight up PvP. PvEvP infers that the PvE crowd has an option or a choice, but there is NO choice, no dedicated PvE mode. The entire game is built to PvP gameplay, and that's fine, but R* should not market the game as having something for everyone to lure PvE players or folks looking for a western-themed RPG into what is essentially a reskin of GTA Online. Edit: and you could have at least quoted me on that, since I just said it in this thread yesterday.

  19. Why is it that for the last 4 days I must go thru multiple rounds of Bow and Arrow or Knife games before I get to a single round of Showdown with weapons. I ALWAYS downvote those because it's too boring waiting around for new players to figure out HOW to play those maps... yet after grinding out 90 levels I can honestly say I am forced with 3 to 1 odds every time I try to load up Showdown. Rockstar and Take 2 had better start caring more about the basics or I don't care how long I played GTA... I will drop RDR2 for something like Minecraft where at least they won't lie to you.

  20. Absolutely. And part of my point is that its not a new idea, and has benefits. Naming the mode “Hardcore” as before also makes it sound badass and draws players in. I would even go a step farther and have a reduced radar that only shows players when shooting or sprinting. (Keep the red glow) maybe on the actual map it could just have a soft red area as well

  21. I tried this for one session and I didn't have a problem with missions starting although there was a bit of delay on one. It didn't matter how close my teammates were in my case. I'll have to try it for a couple more sessions before I can say it definitely works for me though. I also thought the same with a couple other things I tried (like moving around during the dialogue) until I had problems again.

Next you hear some clown saying in chat , " This is our town!! Get out or get owned!" or they call Posse's out by name. I don't mind the PVP and with these clowns focused on us, other players don't have to deal with them. They can go about their business in peace.

  32. Well, my request for PvE servers still stands--and gets sent to Rockstar every day with the name of the horse's rear griefer that killed me most recently. But I think this toggle thing might work, too. I think someone mentioned WoW awhile ago. If I remember, didn't/doesn't it have something similar? The toggle for PvE would be on naturally, correct, allowing me to spawn in without one of the griefing murdering bullies popping me in the noggin? I'm willing to try anything after the mess we have now. Played for about five hours this morning, the first four or so just fishing and hunting--did the fast travel lobby to avoid the little griefers but they eventually started dotting up my map. Time to go... During those first four hours of just hunting and fishing, I'm not sure of the XP gained but I managed to reach full maximum honor. Hunting and fishing. (So I guess the only safe On Call mission to do now is "Kill Them All..." if I want to keep it at maximum, right? Rats!!) And yeah, I shot some animals but I would never marginalize or oversimplify this game by calling it a shooting game. If you read the promo material, that's not even the takeaway either. Rockstar mentioned "fun and fair environment for everyone" and "Explore the world solo or with friends." I say, let's have that. Toggle switch or separate PvE servers, I don't care. But this game needs something done.

  33. To the OP's question, I would like to do, or experience the same game that story mode provides with my friends, with out having to deal with others ruining our (myself & friends) experience. My hopes for Red Dead Online was to invite up to five friends to my story mode map, or theirs, and experience the masterpiece Rock* developers created, in a peer to peer system. Not the bare and bland experience of what it is now. I've played games since the 70's and discovered long ago co-op is way more fun than PVP. I have also played "guns" since I was a kid, and am quite frankly tiered of it.

  36. That's why this game needs private sessions. Hell it needed it on day one. Including free aim lobbies. But R* is too busy milking the beta. To be fair this is a shooting game.. in an open world wild west setting. This game does have more in common with Far Cry than Over Watch. Still, when RD O starts. 42. Thousands gathered in the Saint Denis cemetery this weekend past to pay respects to the fallen Police Officers of Saint Denis. After putting together witness recounts and evidence recovered at the scene we’ve learned that the notorious outlaw Arthur Morgan arrived in Saint Denis early Saturday morning. He conducted business with the Trapper and Fence, then went into the Saint Denis gunsmith where an 18 hour standoff ensued and a staggering number of officers were killed. Eye witnesses near the Trapper and Fence recount “he looked sick, pale and unsteady on his feet”, another stated “he was coughing a bit, and somewhat irritable at a feller that asked if he was okay”. An eye witness at the gunsmith told one reporter “He wasn’t happy looking when he went into the gunsmith. He ran from his horse into the shop, throwing the doors open. I ducked my head down below the window, I didn’t want to be seen. I could hear him talking to the gunsmith. The gunsmith said something about keeping his weapon clean. It escalated from there. More shouting, I covered my ears, and then through my hands I heard a shotgun blast. We all screamed and ran.” The last witness recounting of the incident is thus; “I was walking along, heading past the gunsmith on the opposite side of the street and heard a gunshot. I ran to the opening in the fence beside me and hid there behind the stone base of the fence. After that first gunshot I heard police whistles and thought to myself ‘oh good, they’ll handle it’. But I stayed hidden, i was too scared to move so as i didn't get shot too. The police were yelling at someone in the gunsmith, then more shots rang out, then it got quiet, really quiet. A minute or so later I hear running footsteps going into the gunsmith and more shooting. Then it got really quiet again. That scary quiet like when there’s a bear near you in the woods. So I peaked over the stone base of the fence and saw all these dead policemen. I panicked and ran, I’ve never been so scared in my life!” Our evidence collaborates their stories. On that tragic morning Arthur Morgan argued with the gunsmith, then shot the gunsmith in the head with his shotgun. Police were notified and in their haste they rushed into the gunsmith only to be shot dead in the doorway. It is believed Mr. Morgan hid in the back of the gunsmith, using the wall as cover, shooting anyone that ran in or in front of the doors. It’s believed he was waiting for more police to arrive. This stand off lasted about 18 hours. At approximately 2am Mr. Morgan gunned down the officers at the doorway, then ran off down an alley. He had a horse waiting and fled through the streets and alleys. Officers chased him, and killed his horse we believe was named Buell, as that name was stamped on the bridle's nose strap. Mr. Morgan then shot an innocent rider in the head, stole his horse and fled through the fields into the swamp, escaping the pursuing officers. A 3 day manhunt in the swamp turned up nothing, but 2 squads of dead officers. Mr. Morgan must have heard them, and then hid in cover and picked them off. All officers in both squads were shot in the head. Evidence collected counts the dead as follows – 208 Saint Denis police officers, Ms. Pergot, an innocent who must have ran passed the opened gunsmith and was shot, Mr. Samuels, the unfortunate victim riding his horse in the wrong place and time, and Mr. Morgan's horse Buell. Investigators have recovered 240 spent shotgun shells in the back of the gunsmith, and 30 revolver casings.

  43. fair enough, I personally believe that if Free Aim was a choice in server preferences there would be less people who would get annoyed at people trying to PvP because as stated all anyone has to do is ride up and blast you, some people cant even escape it. just constant abuse. if people actually had to aim then those who don't wish to fight or aren't in the mood for PvP then they can easily escape. Thats the True fix for all of these problems, hell even add the option for auto aim on Npcs for those who just want to play PvE. not saying get rid of auto aim servers, i really don't care if people choose to play that way (wouldn't be the norm if they had introduced the game without it), but definitely need to have free aim lobbies. I don't see a point in Private lobbies in this game however but idk I personally never wanted them so I have no real opinion on them.

  44. calm down there buddy, I'm sure the Auto Aim helps you out 90% of the way, Abilities are the other 10%. There is no getting "better" using that setting. It's quite hilarious actually, i use free aim and wanted to teach this kid a lesson (he follows us from lobby to lobby) i turned auto aim on and was unstoppable 3v1 and they couldn't even get close. until my controller died that is. auto aim is pathetic and requires no skill what so ever so there is no learning curve at all just aim flick up and shoot.

  45. Real constructive and mature reply there. This game has more to offer than fishing and hunting and could be a great online experience if R* put in some effort. Adding more dynamic events and tweaking the behaviour and attacks of the npcs would go a long way in fixing this game. With the hard lock auto aim and the slow, clunky movement's of our toons, this will never be a good PvP experience.

  46. Im sure there’s plenty of people here who have put in more hours than me. I got to chapter 6 on my first play before realising that I missed an optional mission back in chapter 3. That was after I found all the bones and all the dreamcatchers. I started over again and got to chapter 3 again before taking time out to grab some collectibles and all the satchels. Its kind of a nice place to do this, before Arthur starts coughing his guts up too much.

  48. Also, the reason I dont join your posse "for security reasons " is so whenever I DO have to kill someone to defend you, you do not show up as a hostile enemy to the griefers or their posse. A few have asked and I didnt exactly state why.
