That is a bit over an overreaction there bud. Of course they care. They want their money lol I think they just want to wait until they either decide on what to let us see or maybe they are in the works of setting up a new trailer and want it to be epic. Summer isn't over yet.

Rockstar is known to say things and not deliver though. I think most devs have done this over the years. This is likely why they are being so hush hush on the game. They don't want to make promises and have it backfire.

Just based on them pushing things back again and again I voted for it to be delayed. I bet it will be. I won't be happy but I can see it happening.

Red Dead Revolver was released in NA on a Monday: May 3, 2004. May 3, 2018 falls on a Thursday this time around. But with all recent releases falling on Tuesdays, May 1, 2018 will be the logical release date. The only game that could have even remotely caused any disturbance to a RDR2 release date was Far Cry 5. It's not an issue now since it releases February 27, 2018. There are no other major games slated for any specific release dates after Far Cry. Spring 2018 is bare and you can bet it'll stay that way due to fear of competing against RDR2. May 1 maximizes profit, tips a hat to the original, and gives the company a huge window to tweak the online portion. All this, before any real competition shows up and tries to challenge them.

Well here I am again... 2 months later I am back and picking May..

Just seems like that is the most likely outcome. Also, I can't see another delay happening that would push it back to Fall.

Yeah if it hit another delay it would certainly be pushed back till a Fall Release no doubt. Nintendo seems to be the heavy hitters of Summer releases. Don't want to compete with that in terms of priority.

I might have found a possible release date on a scandinavian online tech shop named Komplett.

Komplett is a very trusted and accurate website with great customerservice, which gives this theory a little more "umph".

The site is natively supported in Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. This means that the case of a translation error is unlikely. I speak danish, that's why It's in danish.

Feel free to translate it yourself, if you doubt my translation.

I personally think this is pretty strong evidence, and I think this should be spread around the community.

I think this could also be a placeholder and here is why:

1. They're expected to release the game in Q2 of 2018 which starts on the 1st of April so sounds like a placeholder date to me.
2. Secondly the 1st of April 2018 is a Sunday and I don't see them releasing it on a Sunday lol.

Would be nice of course having it sooner rather than later.

The release date may be a placeholder, but they have a date for when they will be recieving the game. A company needs to know when they can excpext the game.

April? Really?? Well hell yeah it would be better than May but I don't see it happening. They may want to have an offset for the date by a few weeks to run through final server testing for online.

Should have just waited to vote then you could have told everyone you were right! lol 

Either way, April or May, I am fine with either. One month earlier or later won't make a difference in terms of the amount of time we had already been made to wait.

Same here. I am fine with either month. I was pissed when the release date got shoved back but at this point, I am fine with it now. I have been working OT since the end of September really so I will have a lot more free time in the Spring.

Yeah I am with you, a month soon is a month better! I wouldn't mind if they decided to drop it in February. I would have preferred to play it when the weather is crap outside anyways. May starts to warm up and get nice out.

If the game is ready in April and sales will not be changed or anything by releasing it then, I don't see why they wouldn't. Sales would hurt if they did it too soon after Christmas so January is out. February is all about Valentine's day and TV series returning so that is out. So the earliest would be March.

Saaaame. I would like to get it sooner but I can bet it still comes on in May. Maybe even June. It has to be April - June and May is in the middle so it just makes sense.

I really don't know what to vote on this still. Feels like since they are being hush hush about it, maybe another delay is possible. I would be horribly disappointed.

I always forget about this. Like they have to know when the copies get shipped to the stores. Most go out a week in advance which means they should have them 2 to 4 weeks before that.

I'm just hoping that it comes out May or sooner. I would hate to see another delay. I don't think it is likely but you never know, things can go wrong.

Not really. I haven't seen any news on the game. Just some updates by Rockstar or about the company in general. I check every few days and follow them on Twitter.

RDR2 Trailer 2 is now the top story on Rockstar's website. It had not been in this position since it dropped in September. Have in mind that this "top stories" list is manually edited by Rockstar, it's not an algorithm based on clicks.
