If my memory serves correctly, in the beginning, or near, they would kick the "bad sports" off the server to a "bad sports" server and ban them if they continued there. I doubt i'll play much online as i'm a solo player, and can't stand the generic online idiots that accumulate in games like these. I really liked GTAO for the first while, till it was slam packed with 12 yr old idgits, as my son called them, griefing everyone. Got to be that a solo player, or on the rare occasion i could play online with my son, couldn't get anything accomplished, except dying repeatedly.

riptide87 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Is there a specific area on the map to find a TON of bears? I want to try something. lol The most I found in one spot was 3.

I am not sure you will actually be able to find a "ton" of them in one spot but you can try.
markyrdr Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Hi guys new to the board. Going to be posting some spoilers below. I've actually joined to find out a few things. SPOILERS So I've just finished the main part of the story with Arthur. Now I was aware that he died through reading message boards but wow what an emotional ending. The bit where my horse died was devastating and i was hoping if i ran back i could use a revive kit in the hope i could find it and use it as Johns horse. Arthur is definitely my favourite character in a video game probably since Tommy Vercetti. Anyways my point was there are tonnes of side missions I haven't done. How do I go back and do this or are you able to do all the side missions as John (I assume not). This is a very nooby type question and I apologise.

I use another forum for football chat and on there the spoiler button is a link which if pressed reveals the spoiler. I wrongly assumed that it was the same here, read the rest of your post and have now learned Arthur dies. Not your fault, mine lol.
JDPerry_14 Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 MISSION HELP, John Marston (The Sheep and the Goats) So, I road my horse over to this mission where you are supposed to meet up with John Marston to begin The Sheep and the Goats. I went to his icon which is shown on the map at the sheep stables just inside of valentine. Now, I’ve tried this multiple times with restarting the game and including my entire PS4. Everytime I come to this spot John Marston is nowhere to be found and I can’t begin this mission. Does anyone know what’s going on here? I’ve tried looking everywhere online and I’m not finding anything but walkthroughs of the mission which I don’t need. Needing explanation, thanks!

Graham Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) Why isn't there any spoiler talk thread? I have a few questions about the ending... I'm going crazy and need answers! Spoiler SPOILER-SPOILER-SPOILER So... Why the heck got Arthur sick? I know, I know only Rockstar has a real answer for this but I don't know how to ask them and get a reasonable answer. So what do you guys think was the reason? Just for the sake of an other ending as getting shot? Ok even if this is the reason, why letting him get sick so early? Story was something over 50% when I'm remembering it right. Why do we have play a dying man half of the story? Why do we and he have to suffer so much? I couldn't do anything else then story missions after I knew he's getting sick and propably will die. Because how could I? A person who has TB and is caughing like hell and having even problems staying concsious... Why would I do anything else than my duties? And even these where absolutly crazy, so much exhausting moments for Arthur... How can this be realistic? Rockstar spoiled half of the game for me with doing this. I could'nt even go to Strauss or do other side missions because it was completely irrational. This whole part was so frustrating for me... I really had to force myself because I wanted to see the end... And then after I got it (Arthurs end, not the epilogue, I'm still on playing the epilogue), it was so... pointless and especially sad as f*ck! And no It's not because it was not a happy ending, after I played the first game, I knew it wasn't be one. But I mean this was so much more than just a bad ending, it was torture for me and yes maybe that is what Rockstar wanted, but still it doesn't make any sense to me doing it this long, frustrating and painfull way. I still like the game (!) It's just that I can't get behind all of this... Please people, help me understanding all of this... PS: Don't know if the ending has something to do with the choice of getting the money or helping John or the moral thing... I has a maxed out good karma... and the ending was still sh*t... Diss Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 sh*t endings? hmmm, the shittest ending to a game I ever played was Far Cry 5. Rdr2? Spoiler I've never really been a person that feels any kind of affinity with characters I'm playing with, With Arthur it was different because he wasn't some ripped hero who was faultless, he was like all of us with strengths and weaknesses. His character resonated with me because of how he acknowledged his weaknesses and tried to better himself. I thought the onset of his TB was a good idea ad him dying on a mountain top, not by the hand of another was fitting. It's not like his illness caused any serious problems with gameplay. I thought the story of Arthu's demise was well thought out and fitting. 2

At first I was a bit put off by it but as things progressed with Arthur I really felt for the dude and I think I was more "close" with him as a character than I was with John in the first one. 1
FLIP Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 So I decided to go back on the offline end of the game just to mess around and I am surprised at the amount of fun I am still having with this game even though I completed the story. 1

ChrisCr0ss Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 What I find interesting is that people are still judging the game based on the beta. Like they say the story was great but online sucks. Like no duh, they need to work out the issues before it is 100% stable. lol 1

And he argued back "That is just stupid, they get paid to test the game!"... lol

But even then there's no way in hell they can catch all the bugs and exploits and glitches. They mainly just test for major issues. Beta testing by players is by far the most effective testing for any game, but they usually do closed beta testing with a selected user base. I think it's cool they did RDR2 as open beta. Thins out the idiots you'd have to deal at release if they did closed beta 1

Like a lot of people who are impatient or ignorant will end up quitting before the game is all primed up. I am fine with tons of people being a part of the online community but it is nice to see try hards and cry babies quitting now.
Diss Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I've completed RDR2 and it has firmly become my favourite game of all time. I have a tradition at Christmas that I buy a game before the Christmas day and play it on the day. My plan was to do this with RDR2, but after reading so many reviews I started playing it before Christmas day. I also bought Hitman 2 which ended up supposedly being my Christmas day game. However, because RDR2 is so amazing Hitman 2 remains unopened for 2 reasons first, I'm on my second playthrough of RDR2 and second I bought RDR. I've played RDR twice in the past and for some reason never got around to completing it. This time however, I wanted to play it to its conclusion because of how the story ties in with RDR2. For instance near the beginning of RDR when Marston confronts Bill Williamson outside Fort Mercer, Williamson was just some random character before I'd played RDR2 but this time he was the asshole I'd grown to know in RDR2. Also, learning that Javier and Dutch would be appearing in the game kept me rapt. The conversations with characters that tied in with RDR2 was also interesting. I've no idea when Hitman 2 will get a look in, but I suspect it's gonna be quite a while because I plan to get RDR Undead nightmare soon. 2

bluntTR4P Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 A buddy of mine finished the story and 100% the game. Has no interest in online. Any suggestions on ways to still have fun with the game for him? He asked me but I am still playing the story.

CowBoii Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I second going for golding out all the missions. I think it is worth it just to up your skills in the game. Might even help you a bit online down the road.

I mean I am sure this kind of stuff does happen to irl horses just like it does to any other mammal with their balls exposed. Still, find it funny how they wiggle around. Completely unnecessary but equally as hilarious.
